MDP premier was fun and every body seemed to be stoked on the movie, I have heard a lot of people say that it is the best MDP movie for a long time. All this went down in San Diego, it is a really wild week just checking all kinds of snowboard movie premiers and parties!

After the states I got back to Finland again, and skated a bunch. Man, got to say that I have been so excited on skateboarding lately, now since it is pretty bad weather allready I have been skating in the indoor parks in Helsinki.

Then my next trip was Freestyle.ch contest in Zurich. That was so fun, really good contest as usual, and at least this year I didnt end up in the hospital either. I ended up winning this year with a sw double back, Autti got 2nd and Crepel 3rd. Got pretty lucky I guess. It is pretty damn rad to start off the season like this, feeling pretty confident.

Now after zurich i was at home for 5 days before the most crazy ass party at my place…haha, it is a called sauna party, but this time there was like 3 times as many people as normal. There was: Me, Jukka Erätuli, Sami Tuoriniemi, Rasmus Tikkanen, Risto Mattila, Juuso Laivisto, Janne Heiskanen, Henri Sankala, Mikko Sjöblom, Petteri Hasselgren, Jani Isakson and a bunch more! This pre party was a success (not for Jukka, he drank too much and wasnt able to continue to the next party scene, hahahahahaha), after partiying from 5pm till 9pm we took the cabs to get to the Helsinki city’s ‘THAT’ premier wich ended up being a successful party as well…that is one of the most fun parties in memory, only bad thing was waking up the next morning and facing all the mess I would have clean up. Now I will just stay in Finland till the snow falls I think and then start filming rails again, like there is no tomorrow!

Just got back home to Finland from New Zealand, oh man, the whole travel took me like 40 hours. I am pretty beat right now. The trip was really fun though, the main purpose of the trip was to test some new Oakley outerwear! I Have to say that the stuff is pretty damn rad and works sick! This was my first time in NZ, got to tell you guys, that place is beautiful, can’t wait already to go again! We rode there in three different resorts, but Snowpark was by far my favourite of all of them! They had a sick pipe, rails and jumps! Now I will get to chill one week at home, skate a lot, then I will fly over to the USA to check out the MDP premier and for the TWS rider poll ­ I got nominated for the mens rider of the year, so it will be me, Shaun White and Andreas Wiig fighting for the title. Then come back from there for one week again and then head to Zurich for the freestyle.ch! That should be a super fun event, so be sure if you are on the neighbourhood to come and check it out!
