So, yeh, me blogering thingy mijingy (that’s not english i know but, hey, neither am I)

So what have i been up to, hmmmmmmmm. I was first having a great Christmas with my house mates here in Zillertal, riding and just enjoying the festive season (so partying ha ha). Also shot some pics for one day with Bavo, my Belgian photo buddy. I also filmed a trick tip at the Vans Park opening for this very website. Onboardsnowboarding.com made do more 7s in a row than I ever done before, ha ha.

Then I spent the new year with my good pals up in an Alm in Zillertal having some schnapps. Woo hoo! Great New Year, I tell you, and the best bit was the run down in the dark on the bum sledge ……..

Since New Years I was riding the Davos comp, I just got sick when I got there, as did a few other riders, so when I was not on the toilet I was trying to jump but it just didn’t work out for me, although i did enjoy watching Kim Rune Hansen win. Wow that kid was killing it, as were the others in the final.

I also just found out I am filming for next year’s Yeahh 3 Production, so first up was a trip to Arlberg with the rest of the crew for a week to shoot and film.

Now I am back in Mayrhofen riding the sick park here untill my next trip, or I might even nip to ISPO for the day to see some friends.

Well, my summer was a good one (last summer i broke my arm and this summer i didn’t so that makes it good to me!!)

It started in les 2 alps france. i was there with kommunity crew for 2 weeks riding with friends and having a good time with good snow, then i jumped on a plane to head down under to new zealand for 2 months. Volcom sorted me out with a flight down there so i decided to get down to some summer training in the pipe and park for a few months. I was too late to enter the Burton NZ open but managed to get into the QP comp which was fun but bad wind and weather!!! I also did the billabong comp but only managed 25th place but still had a blast in the snow storm qualifying.

once comps were done i just hit the rail park – perfect pipe and worked on some new trick for the season with fellow scot ben kilner (who was ripping – no jokes this kid will
be big: he loves snowboarding and he is so god damn good at it ! )

so after a good stint down under it was time to head home and see the folks and my brother before it all started again.

first stop was the LDP movie premiere of Terminal Ferocity which was a blast to say the least. burton scrap metal comp in tamworth the following evening was so much
fun i even made it to the final with a hang over from hell!!! (because it was my first drink since 9 months hahah!!) Then went to castleford for another Burton Scrap metal comp then London for the ski show. check out www.whitelines.com for the ski show report. it’s like ISPO with less stuff and for 6 days way too long !!!!

then i jumped in my car and drove to schladming for the pleasure jam which thanks to my sponsors Burton turned into a pow pow photo shoot of fun. thanks Hasi and Cyril!

now i am finally back in zillertal shredding tux and penken when it’s not raining, booooo!!!

I also ran into Ben Kilner and Dom Harrington who were both loving it up in Snowpark. Well i am off to catch up on my jet lag for now but i will keep you posted on how it is down here.

The comp was slopestyle with a pipe at the end ????? was so much fun! Me and Scott did well but we need to work on our pipe skills because the Norway boys kicked our asses in the pipe…

Nevertheless good fun was had by all.

Before here I was in Laax for the Brits where I got a 5th place ss 3rd place hp and 2nd big air it was a fun event and nice weather all week…

After Laax I rushed to the jib vid where we had epic powder and so much fun making our video. Props to the Redbull team who killed it – well done.

After jib-vid it was back in the car and off to Vorarlberg for a week of pow pow. I was with photographer Dan Milner who was keen to get good powder shots and cliffs so we did a lot of hiking but it was worth every step. I was there with Mr Mcmorris, Josh Wolf and Ryan Davis. So many laughs were had and we gave Mr Milner a good ripping for the week.

As I said I am now in Norway and this place rules! The people are so friendly and the organizers of the TTR comp have looked after us very well, so thanks to everyone in Hemsedal.

After here I am hoping to spend a few days in my own bed in Austria!

Oh yeah, and I heard it dumped in NZ already!!!

Sorry its been so long since my last blog been busy traveling looking for snow and at o few contests. So i had a week in laax at the BEO this was great fun and the course was so good but bad luck for me. My binding broke because i over shot the kicker in my first heat of qualifying ……bummer. I’m glad the binding broke because if it didn’t it could have been my leg!!!!!! The comp was cancelled anyways but i still had a great time riding with team mates and friends i didn’t see for a long time. Next was a quick trip to my home to repack and head to avoriaz for the TTR QP comp happening there had a great time didn’t make the cut though! was a great comp to watch and my first QP experience (well second i had one day in saas fee once). Avoriaz had a nice fun sized park to lay in so i spent alot of time there and taking moon lit night runs so much fun. After Avoriaz i went to chamonix for a few days to shoot some rails and jibs this was good fun and a good change from contests but i have returned too avoriaz because its been dumping big time and i hope it will keep snowing for the next week (fingers crossed). Well i am off to chamonix for a few days to see a friend who is about to have a baby and get some powder turns in…

I was first at the Burton world tour party in London which was totally ace – the video was unreal and the party was sick!

Then jumped in my car and drove to Dachstine in Austria for the pleasure jam, since it was my first day to shred since my arm was bust I just shot some pics and had fun.

I am now in Mayrhofen (Ramsau) where I have been for the last 4 weeks riding lots in Hintertux where they have 2 good jumps to ride and some powder so it has been good warming up. I just spent the weekend with the Gravis dudes from the usa and they showed me the new range which looks awesome.

Christmas soon – I cant wait.

I was also at the premiere of the UK snowboard film ‘SHOWOFFS’ brought to you by www.lockdownprojects.com. This film is free at your local tsa/ellisbrighams store. It was a epic night, the film was so good and I am super happy as I got the opening part of the film.

Tommorrow night is the London viewing of the Burton ‘RIGHT OR WRONG’ movie which should be good fun and then I have to drive from London to Austria as quick as possible to get to the pleasure jam for the weekend….

Can’t wait to get on the snow and move into my new room in Mayrhofen with the hungerpain crew.

I have 2 more weeks physio before I head to Oz for a week. My arm looks fine, I just need to get the full movement back but I am nearlly there.
I have been filming my friends up on the hill then heading down to the gym for a few hours then going to physio most days. Other than that, just watching the US Open tennis, plenty of NZ tv and the odd party when it happens.

Next stop was the Burton summer camp for a week in hintertux.we had some bad weather but pushed through and had a good time in the end.most of the team turned up and as the world cup was on footy was the talk of the week. after tux i moved to les deux alps france for 3 weeks of riding and coaching , got some shots for my movie part and some pic’s with dan milner.it super busy there but really good time.

right now i am down in new zealand riding snow park and enjoying kiwi life.i have been here for 3 days and the place is so sick perfect pipe,kickers and rails.no drag lifts and everyone is super nice. managed to take a slam today over shooting the big jump.bummed because i did’nt fall all day and fell right at the end of the day just spinning a 720 and landed funny resulting in a hyper extension of my right elbow.so 2 weeks physio and i will be as good as new.

i am down in oz/nz till october 11th then i head back to uk for the movie premiere of “show off’s” the uk snow movie.(lockdownprojects.com) hey keep your eye’s peeled for danny davis he is killing it down here………..
