Hallo I am Mone Monsberger!!!

Just a little report about the start of my season: it started with a lot of parties!! Actually it has been the first year that I was filming for a real 16mm film project so I was super happy to go to all the premieres.

We started in Innsbruck: this was the first time I have seen my part. I was so stoked I started dancing while I watched the part! I really liked the music, “Moneybrothers”" I was really happy. Than I went to a few more premieres in Dornbirn, Zürich, Moskaul, Amsterdam, Leon, Nürnberg, Barcelona, Andwerp, Saas Fee and so on. So the season pretty much started with a lot of parties. It was super fun.

I also went to a contest already. I was riding the big air contest in Barcelona where I did a fs 3 onefoot for the first time ever. I was super stoked. I don’t like that spin to win contest thats why I started to do something else. It was super good fun. The rest of the time there I was skating!!! I am loving it!!! So that’s it with the start for my season. I have to go now!!!

I travelled on Monday to Paris. We had a 686 sales meeting and it was a lot of fun. It was a stressy time – not that much sleep, we drunk a lot of wine and I saw the Eiffel tower! It was a nice trip and I met a lot of new friends! I had some new experiences on my way back. At the Paris airport, the police found some luggage with no owners so they closed a part of the airport and the police blew the luggage up! The second experience was in my plane – I had to sit between two old ladies and one of the ladies had a problem with flying so I thought she would die, totally white face, crying and at the landing she had to puke. After that everthing was good!

The last two weeks were really stressful for me. I had to move out from my apartment so I had to clean everthing and throw out all my stuff! The worst thing about this was I had no internet for several days.

Another thing, where is the snow?? Today a friend and I travelled to Lech because a skiing instructor told my girlfriend one day before that he was skiing there, we arrived there but no lift was open. It was really bad but we had a lot of fun on the small snowhills!

Winter is coming at montafon! I had a really funny session on a small rail in the front of my house! Last week we had a studio shooting with deeluxe in salzburg for the new catalogue. The whole day for four shots and outside blue sky! After the shooting day I was invited for the pleasure jam at the dachstein glacier. Good park but it was a little bit windy, so now big jump form me.

Let me introduce myself: my name is Benjamin Wetscher and I live in Fügen and beside snowboarding I study in Innsbruck. I’m born and raised in Zillertal and it is a pretty dope place to grow up if you are snowboarding, because you have so much different backcountry and whenever snowconditions are bad you still can ride a really sick Park in Mayrhofen or in the summertime in Hintertux. Damn, I really love this place.

I really enjoy snowboarding with my friends and fooling around with them. Through snowboarding I met so many cool people and some of ‘em even turned into close friends and it also allows me to travel to different places and countries.

In the future I wanna get some sick shots (not like this one), a cool videopart, some good results in comps (although I don’t really enjoy ‘em), have fun, push my own limits and don’t get hurt ‘cause injuries suck.

I ride for: Ride Snowboards, Grenade Gloves, Adio Footwear, Frontline Clothing, The Seeker, Hot Zone and myself. Thanx for all the support. And of course I wanna thank my family and all my homeboys (my 2nd family) for being there.

How are you doing?!

Here we go – a little short cut from my trip to Japan! It was a nice trip – the premiere was sick. I tried surfing the only problem there were no waves – shit happens, but it was fun! Thanks to JT and his wife for their hospitality – they showed us some cultural stuff and some really good food places!

Hello,

I want to tell you something from last weekend. On Saturday I went snowboarding with Sani and Flo Thaler. We were in Hintertux, the park is funny and good but the rest of the glacier is dead up there.

It really looks like a moon landscape. We had a good sessions with a lot of other friends in the park. After riding I went back to Innsbruck. Now it was time to find a lift to Munich, because the “Lubedence” premiere was on there. All the pirates already left to warm up at the “Oktoberfest” so I had to take the train.

When I arrived in Munich I went straight to the club to warm up. I was too early and nearly alone so maybe it was too much warm up… I was really drunk and I can´t remember a lot, but the party was funny and long. On Sunday I was lucky to find a place in the back of a car where I could sleep and chill all day.
Maybe I will see you next weekend on the glacier or on the dance floor.

Marco just called me up and asked me to write something for his blog. He said I could write what ever I want. Since I was in China two weeks ago I thought you might want to hear about it.

Burton teamed up with the Beijing Pop and Music festival to hold a big air event in the middle of the Beijing city. I thought it was a really good mix, snowboarding with a lot of good bands like Placebo, Supergrass, Skid Row, and so many more. The riders who attended were myself, Grillo, Tadashi Fuse, Kazu Kokubo, Shota Suzuki, Kevin Pearce, Luke Mitrani, Yale Cousino and Chris Rotax. Arriving in the city was already a big cultural shock. 15 million people, huge buildings everywhere, a lot of military, crazy driving style, like nobody takes care about lights or street signs, you just honk and go for it! Crazy!!! The pollution in the air is so thick that you can’t even see the sky if it’s not windy but nevertheless it was really interesting.

The jump at the eventside was small but still big enough to put on a show and pull out some tricks. At first everyone was just doing small spins but that quickly turned into backside Rodeos, 9s and tandem backflips. The trick the crowd was the most stoked on though was the rapid fire jumps at the end of the show. I think it was really good introduction of snowboarding and I hope that it motivated a lot of Chinese people to do it.

Since we had some days left before we had to leave we did the full sightseeing tour and checked out the forbidden city, Tiananmen square (you remember the 1989 protest where this student gets crushed by a tank), the Silk market, a lot of clubs, the great Chinese wall, really hurting foot massage, some weird food and so much more.. pretty impressive!

It was for sure one of the coolest trips I ever did.

My name is Werni, I’m 18 years old and I was born in RUM. I live in Lanersbach in the ZILLERTAL. My home resorts are Mayrhofen, Hintertux and the hole Zillertal.

I’m riding for fun and also for my Sponsors Salomon Snowboards, Bonfire Outerwear, Adidas Eyewear, Insider Sportshop and Hot Zone. THANX TO ALL.

Most of the time in the summer I do my work and in my free time I go shredding to the Hintertuxer glacier, spend time with my girlfriend, my friends and work on my IPOD.

Today I had a pretty bad day: my school starts again.

My future plans are: have a lot of fun snowboarding, get some good results in competitions, have a video part and of course no injuries.

Every weekend then same, party like hell! A little update from the last week. During the week I helped my parents at home. At the weekend I travelled to Zürich for the freestyle.ch and for the Pirate premiere! The competition was a lot of fun! I heard around 46,000 people visited the freestyle.ch weekend!

About the Pirate premiere: every body was stoked about the movie and everyone was drunk like hell!!
