Season has started.

Me, Janne Heiskanen and Rasmus Tikkanen drove to Oulu to hit some rails.
Local hero Antti Kurula is here with us also.
Yesterday we hit couple “season starters” for a begin and today is suppose
to hit one super-long rail.

Anyhow I have to get up and go working. In meanwhile you should go to my

Wow, couple months passed by since I wrote last time. It feels like couple weeks, but now when I am sitting down and thinking about this season so far we have done so much.

In this case when I speak we I mean MDP and Storbis crews. I have been shooting with Eero Ettala and Janne Heiskanen almost all time. In early season Joni Malmi was also with us. Last week was super nice for me. MDP’s Brad Kremer and riders Jeremy Jones, Seth Hout and Darrel Mathes did one week trip to Finland. I had so much fun with those guys and we got plenty of shots also. Thanks guys for super nice week!!!

OK, time to stop writing and get my stuffs to my van, it´s a rail shooting time. This time Eero Ettala is the man!!!

Where is the Snow?

Snow has melted almost to zero here in Helsinki. I, Janne Heiskanen and Eero Ettala drove about 150 kilometers to north for a couple days. As usually days were long and tough. We hit four spots and got about 10 shots.

This is Pasi Salminen speaking. I just read Rasmus Tikkanen’s blog and I would say I am in the same situation. This is my first blog in my internet history. That may sound bit strange just because people think I am so into the internet. Actually I might be, but my literary skills aren’t that good.

Anyhow I am so called photographer and part-time geek. Winter time I follow snowboarders around Finland with my van. Summertimes I chill and take some skateboarding shots. If I’m not behind camera or driving my car I am sitting front of my computer.

Last night was one of this season’s first sessions. I was with Eero Ettala and Janne Heiskanen. We did some fun stuff just for photos. It was so nice to lie in snow and do some shoveling. Work and fun has started!
