The time has come! Tomorrow, the second MOREBOARDS Stubai Premiere is coming up again, bringing some great highlights to the Stubai Glacier in Tyrol. The snowfall from yesterday made it possible!  Today we went up to see how the set up for tomorrow’s opening looks like. And as Elias Elhardt said…”and it’s awesome!” Check how it looks like…

Tomorrow on October 22th the MOREBOARDS Stubai Premiere is the official kick-off for the Winter Sessions. Beside a kicker line with several take-offs of 10 to 18 m table, the proline will also show up with a cornerjump with lollipop and a 6 m up-box, while the 8 m down rail and a 10 m kinked box complete this line. The medium line starts off with a great choice of an 8 m kicker, a low 5 m industry pipe or 6 m butter box, followed up by a 6 m kicker next to a 7 m kinked butter box or alternatively 5 m industry pipe.

The next hit offers the choice between a 5 m kicker, 6 m rainbow box or another up-down combined industry pipe. Before you get to the lift, you will finally have to override the jib ton or pyra. Even, if there is a lot going on in the snowpark during the MOREBOARDS Stubai Premiere, the park will always be open for everyone.

And with all this, you can also be a part of Sideevents, Hardwaretests, Coaching Camps, Workshops, Contests, Premieres and Wild Parties with acts like Das Bo, Dj Rafik, Egontronic, Drunken Masters, Schuster & Schneider, 2handsup, Montage Sauvage,…

Fun at riding is definitely the focus of this opening and the afterparties in the evenings will take care for the heat on everybody. Everything is ready for a good session with your best friends and much action in the snowpark.

After last year’s successful European Summer Camps Tour, the SnowBroader Crew decided to hit the Spring Parks yet again with a nice tour around some of the best spots in the Alps! The plan was to start with Hintertux, then move to Kaunertal, later check Stubai Zoo, then visit Gentelmenrider’s park in Val Senales and for the end Mottolino Snowpark in Livigno.

For everybody who is already sick of singing birds, green grass and blooming meadows the MOREBOARDS Stubai Zoo is the place to be. Until the end of May you will have the chance to shorten the summer break for you and your snowboard during the Spring Sessions. “The last shred” is the motto on the Snowbroader Video Weekend on May 23th and 24th where you can put your tricks on video not only in warm sunshine, but also in bright spotlight.

As most of the ski fields have already closed, the season is running at its very high at the MOREBOARDS Stubai Zoo on the Stubai Glacier. On the sunny side of the mountain, the snowpark with bright sun, long days and soft snow is the perfect location for extensive jib- and kickersessions. Rails, boxes and the three kickers in line with different take-offs are shaped perfectly every day and provide a lot of variety and a no-boredom-guarantee.

There is a special goody for all filmstars and aspirants on May 23th and 24th. You can be the star of a snowboard video production. Snowbroader.eu will record your action with our three cams. Pack out your best tricks and become rider in this clip which will be published on all kinds of platforms.

Cirka month ago, more exactly last week in March we promised to you a short clip from Horsefeathers Planai Superpark. Why did it took so long? As always some “Technical Difficulties” ruined our promise…but we can say better late than never, right?

This year Horsefeathers Planai Superpark showed in a marvelus light. We were up few times and park was always in a good shape. Despite high temperatures and slushy conditions Q-Parks shapers did awesome work and contributed a big time that we could make this clip for you. And not to forget Domen Bizjak and Nejc Ferjan who were ready for one of last Snowbroader’s Spring shreds…

Stop five and also the last one of the SnowBroader Spring Tour is Mottolino Snowpark in Livigno, Italy. It stands as the biggest Snowpark in Italy and one of the largest/best ones in entire Europe.  With a total of 43 rails and boxes,  19 jumps and two halfpipes the numbers also speak for themselves.  As if that is not enough the resort of Livigno also offers antoher two parks in the winter time, one on the opposite side slope of Livigno village and one toward the bottom station of the Mottolino cable lift station.

The Mottolino snowpark is devided into four seperate areas that offer features suitable for begginers to pros. Lines are tagged from S to XL.

On the first day we were not that lucky with the weather, actually the weather made no physical sense since it somehow snowed at +6 degrees?!?! Luckily  the second day we woke up to a bluebird skye so therefore that meant it was time to hit the park. As we got to the park, the morning shaping was still in progress so we decied to make a few super carving runs on the slope haha. But when we got back the park shredding was already in progress.

The Large line kickers were the most populated and quite some stylish tricks went down. The pipe was also under attack and some nice airs were seen. The downrail and the straight rail for some reason did not get shreded that much, though some locals still stepped up and showed some rail wizardry. In the end we were lucky enough witness some mahyem go down in the XL line. It is just mind blowing to see people throw down tricks on the 19m kicker and the 18m gap as it was nothing. Amongst all sorts and kinds of 540s, a perfect corked 720 on the 18m gap jump was the trick of the day in my book. Respect!

Unluckily we didn´t get so see/ride the Metro jib area since it was so late in the season that this part of the park unfortunatley had to be closed down due to lack of snow and super high temperatures. So next time we are deffinatley coming earlier in the season to get the full taste of what Livigno has to offer.

To conclude all we can say is that although the high tempreatures, slushy snow and the fact that the season is coming to an end the park staff still manages to maintaine a great park. Most definetly worth a visit!
