Just got back from a 3 week long Euro trip with the Storbis posse. Had so much fun and a lot of sunny days.
Trip started from Munich where we all got together at ISPO. We have two cars from Nissan and we decided to split up. The crew(Jukka, Jaakko, Anssi, Harri, Jani, JaniL, Aleksi) I was in headed to Switzerland and the other crew(Rasmus, Kurula, Teo and Janne) into some super special hook up high in the mountains in the middle of nowhere.
Our crew stayed in Switzerland for 2 weeks and the first week we happened to get some really good snow. We got the chance to shoot with Pat Vermeulen and got so much stuff done. After that initial dump during the first few days we didn’t see a cloud in the sky for the next 2-3 weeks. Jani, Aleksi, Harri and JaniL split up after a week or so in Switzerland and after that we had a pretty good sized crew.
The other crew(excluding Janne and Teo) met up with us in Switzerland and we kept filming. Snow started getting pretty tracked out and hot pow so we decided to go to Austria to look for some better snow conditions. We split up again and had a small crew now. Only shadow spots still had some powder and we found this super cool zone with a bunch of pillow style jumps. Stayed there for 3 days and then headed to Italy to film some park stuff. Italy was super fun and big thanks to Franz for hooking us up!
I hiked so much on this trip, drunk a lot of water, slept under the comfiest puffy comforters (though a little short), drove a bunch, used sun screen excessively and laughed a lot. Got a lot of stuff done and can’t wait for the next one.
