MOREBOARDS Stubai Premiere Tomorrow!!!

The time has come! Tomorrow, the second MOREBOARDS Stubai Premiere is coming up again, bringing some great highlights to the Stubai Glacier in Tyrol. The snowfall from yesterday made it possible! Today we went up to see how the set up for tomorrow’s opening looks like. And as Elias Elhardt said…”and it’s awesome!” Check how it looks like…

Tomorrow on October 22th the MOREBOARDS Stubai Premiere is the official kick-off for the Winter Sessions. Beside a kicker line with several take-offs of 10 to 18 m table, the proline will also show up with a cornerjump with lollipop and a 6 m up-box, while the 8 m down rail and a 10 m kinked box complete this line. The medium line starts off with a great choice of an 8 m kicker, a low 5 m industry pipe or 6 m butter box, followed up by a 6 m kicker next to a 7 m kinked butter box or alternatively 5 m industry pipe.

The next hit offers the choice between a 5 m kicker, 6 m rainbow box or another up-down combined industry pipe. Before you get to the lift, you will finally have to override the jib ton or pyra. Even, if there is a lot going on in the snowpark during the MOREBOARDS Stubai Premiere, the park will always be open for everyone.

And with all this, you can also be a part of Sideevents, Hardwaretests, Coaching Camps, Workshops, Contests, Premieres and Wild Parties with acts like Das Bo, Dj Rafik, Egontronic, Drunken Masters, Schuster & Schneider, 2handsup, Montage Sauvage,…

Fun at riding is definitely the focus of this opening and the afterparties in the evenings will take care for the heat on everybody. Everything is ready for a good session with your best friends and much action in the snowpark.

The Eastern Europe snowboard and jib contest scene is growing fast at these events you will always find Nejc Ferjan going big during the day and partying at night.

Blue Tomato Teamriders rocked a special obstacle on the Dachstein

On the 14th of July the Blue Toamto Teamriders Flo Galler and Roli Scharmer and a few other riders from the QParks team rocked a multi-cube obstacle on the Dachstein glacier.

The obstacle was actually made for filming works of “Die Bergwacht” by German TV (ARD/ZDF). However, after the filming was over the QParks team prepared the obstacle a bit and made it ready to ride.

„All the riders pushed it hard and had a lot of fun. Wallrides, gap jumps, waterslides, gap to box transfers and all at once, it was just really cool to shoot. One of the funniest sessions in a long time for sure“ says Simon van Hal, who shot the pictures…

SnowBroader Spring Tour 2010 – Video

After last year’s successful European Summer Camps Tour, the SnowBroader Crew decided to hit the Spring Parks yet again with a nice tour around some of the best spots in the Alps! The plan was to start with Hintertux, then move to Kaunertal, later check Stubai Zoo, then visit Gentelmenrider’s park in Val Senales and for the end Mottolino Snowpark in Livigno.

This Spring Tour 2010 was one of the best this year. Perfect parks, blue bird sky and tons of fun. To read how it was just click HERE and for a moving picture click PLAY…

Review of the 1st month on the Dachstein glacier

Time flies. One month ago, the Horsefeathers Superpark Dachstein opened it’s gates for the Summer season 2010.
On the opening weekend we had great fun, and about 400 riders enjoyed the sunshine and 20° C.
The first contest – the Ride and Roar Rail Jam was a great success for the Blue Tomato Team. Flo Galler won the sb mens and our new teamrider Urska Pribosic won the sb wmns.

The finishing of the Opening Weekend was the Horsefeathers party in Schladming, where is seemed like the party will never come to an end.

However, that was just the beginning of the Summer season.

Horsefeathers and the Dachstein Team organized some great camps; from jib and chill to girls camps to coaching and scouting weekends. So there was something for everybody. More about the Camps here.

And of course there were heaps of shootings, like the Blue Tomato Rookie Shooting.
