Last Thursday Silvia Mittermüller made our day brighter.
I mean I don´t want to complain about sitting in an office when it has got almost 20 degrees outside, the sun is shining and all you see is laughing people outside of your window, probably on their way to a beer garden to enjoy an early beer-o-clock.
Silvia loves spring time in Munich but would rather be in a heavy snow storm than doing physio all day long.
I don´t exaggerate when I say that my mood was a bit down. But suddenly my cell phone was ringing. It was Mrs Mittermüller! “Hey, what are you guys doing? I´m just on my way back from physio and thought I´ll come for lunch!” Happy days! So we took Silvia out for a Japanese soup and had some “non-business” chat about crazy French dudes who invite you to their place in Paris but write in the “fine print” that their bed is “minuscule” – no thanks!
To “justify” our long lunch break, we decided to do a bit of work and record a short interview. If I find someone to edit it (Tom, our master mind, is on holidays in Venice at the moment, hope he doesn´t drown and comes back!) you can watch what one of the best European snowboarders says about torn ACL´s, why Marco Smolla and André Tröltzsch help her in going through boring physio and when we will see her on the snow again…Soon to be seen on Onboard TV!
