2011 sees the second ever Winter X Games Europe descend once more on Tignes, France, and after a couple days of those clowns with the long t-shirts helicoptering, today is when the real bangers start to go off. Watch the action LIVE.

Trawling through the vortex of bad PR is pretty tricky, but we think we’ve figured out how the next couple days will pan out. Thursday will see the Slopestyle qualifiers, women’s pipe finals and men’s pipe qualifiers. Come Friday it’ll be men’s and women’s Slopestyle finals and men’s pipe finals to wrap the whole shebang up.

If you followed any of the action at last year’s event you’ll know that it went off, with Eric Willett and Jenny Jones taking the slopestyle titles, while the pipe was won by Iouri Podladtchikov (with the highest ever X Games pipe score) and Kaitlyn Farrington.
