The great thing about World Snowboarding Day is of course the idea of going shredding together and have a good time. But what happens when one thing is left out due to uncontrollable circumstances? Say the “snow” part of Snowboarding Day? Well, that’s what happened on Sunday, December 21, in Garmisch. K2 and Ride Snowboards were putting on a barbie, got some boards ready and got the gondola running. Unfortunately the unthinkable happened: RAIN. Well, as you can probably judge from the pics, the fun was not put on hold just because the sky was crying that day.

EuroSIMA and the World Snowboard Federation present the third edition of the World Snowboard Day: the largest snowboard event in the world.

The event started in 2006 with 34 participating resorts in 10 countries, in 2007 there celebration had already enlarged to 62 resorts in 15 countries and this year it will explode all over the world!

Make sure to mark the 21st of December very red in your calender so you don’t miss the hugest celebration for snowboarding on the planet!
