With spring conditions taking hold in Europe, here’s a timely wake-up call that baked cornices are hyper sketchy.
Even the top guys get their calls wrong. Listen to DCP, Annie Boulanger and Romain de Marchi recall how despite knowing the sun-baked Whistler cornice was sketchy, DCP managed to find himself engulfed in an avalanche after it broke off that took him over 1400 feet. Lucky man.
