Full Online Parts – Onboard’s Choice Cuts

09:28AM Mon, 27th December 2010

2010 has been memorable for many things, not least the explosion of shredders and movie companies dropping fat cuts of online parts onto the hot coals of the internet. Some be ‘meh’, some be sizzling, but like double corks and fancy rail dancing combos, they’re like so 2010.

Here are our selection of 10 online parts that touched our special place. Some are full-on online only, others were in old-fashioned shred flicks, or remixes of them, but released on the internet too. Love ‘em, hate ‘em, tell us we suck coz we missed out your personal favourite. It’s all good. Enjoy…

STÅLE SANDBECH

Ståle was so hot back in September that not only did he score an Onboard cover and a full interview, he also had his buddy Petter Foshaug cut together the highlights of his year and drop them exclusively online. And then he was even hotter. Touch that bad boy and you’re getting burnt.

KAREEM EL-RAFIE

There’s more to this Swedish stomper than baggy outerwear and street skills, he has some solid backcountry action mixed in with some expectedly heavy downtown jibbing in this part. Good variety of hammers get put down in this cut, so check it out.

STEPHAN MAURER

Mu’s been putting himself about in Europa and beyond for many a year, but last season he took his Fish out the pow and hit up contests, rails and booters on it. The resulting part is not just good, it’s perhaps the funnest-looking, most ‘WTF?’ clip we’ve seen all year. Yeah Maurer!

MAC SPEDALE

This is a remix of his part from Commotion, a pretty damned fine free online movie to begin with. It’s all ticking along nicely in a decent manner till the end, where Mac the Knife decides to land as close as he can to a tree, and then put down a uber-gnarly ollie line. Sickness.

HARRISON GORDON

We have to hold our hands up and admit we’d never heard of this fella, but one thing’s for sure – Harrison can sure knock together a tasty jib section.

EERO ETTALA

You’d be hard pressed to find another shredder on spaceship earth who can hold it down as hard downtown, out back or in parks as this Finnish dominator. Well-rounded? Eero’s just frickin circular…

MARK SOLLORS

What did we just say about Ettala? Could just copy/paste it here as the B’s remix of Sollors’ part from Transworld’s In Color shows his circular skills from the streets to the backcountry. And the opening shot is just so rad. Weeeeeeee! This had the whole office hooting when we first saw it.

DAN BRISSE

We’re not quite sure where this fits in as it’s a remix of Brisse’s B-Shots from Absinthe by the guys at Bald E-Gal Productions, but, hell, seeing as not only is it Christmas but Danny Boy’s seconds are heavier than many duders’ first, we have an obligation to include it here…

MIKKEL BANG

Another remix from In Color by the Burtonoids is this one of the Bang. Again, passersby were looking through our window at us like we were mentals as we hooted at his awesome back 180 on the Norwegian hip. That’s just off the hook, but there’s more goods in here for sure…

SETH HUOT

10 years, 10 video parts, the People Crew threw Seth the shakas by dropping his full part from Cheers. Have a gander…
