Rip Curl's 'Welcome Home 2' - Germany

For this first trip of the movie, Elias Elhardt welcomed his team buddies Janne Lipsanen and Victor Delerue to his home in the Allgäu and made them taste the sweet sound of the German powder. He was stoked to be able to show them his territory. “This year I had the honor to welcome the Rip Curl crew in the house I’ve lived in since I was born and show them my home resort. Throughout the shooting, I saw the mountains from a different perspective and also discovered spots I didn’t known before. One of my best memories was when we all jumped in the ice cold fountain in front of my house. That was so much fun! You should have seen the suffering face of Janne. Victor and I could not stop laughing”.
And the guys enjoyed it as well. Victor said: “It was the most welcoming trip of the winter. We stayed at Elias’s huge and very old  wooden house, surrounded by a lot of fresh snow. He opened the door and welcomed us like we were home, it was warm and friendly. My memories?  Big smiles and stiff legs.” And Janne was stoked too: “Elias’ home resort was awesome for powder riding. It is a small resort with only one lift but full of deep powder and nice spots.  I felt like we were in Japan, with lots of forest riding and powder sessions to be had… just perfect!”
