A week is a long time in snowboarding. That’s why we made it shorter: Due to the absence of our entire web crew on Friday this This Week in Snowboarding only has six days. (if you are wondering where we are going: the Nike Snowboarding football tourny) However, it is once again full of awesome videos, interviews, and absurdities, too. Check. It. Out.
We exclusively release the modern classic Euro Gap 1. Some more riding from the Stubai park opening can be located here, the TTR talks about Method airs here, the Terje-and-the-IOC-story can be followed here, the Random Bastards release their full movie, Chas Guldemond drops into his first webisode, the Angry Snowboarder has the second Outlaw Outruns teaser, Utah has more jib setups than Mormons, the Ride team has some pre-season fun, Kazu and Mikey continue riding for Burton, Desiree Melancon now smells as good as she looks, Jed Anderson talks about swivelling on rails, and the House of 1817 presents their full movie (banger!)
We have Marc Swoboda’s full part from the Nitro movie and the first part of Ero One’s Voila, we continue our Euro Gap week with a Niki Korpela interview, Marko Grilc wins the London Big Air and Gerome Mathieu wins the Stomp-e It-e in Modena, Boreal opened and the bHappy crew was there, Artec wants you to design a board, the Videograss is growing, Wojtek Pawlusiak is legend, the Party Snake… parties, Camber is dead, Travis Parker is alive, and Airblaster will soon release their ‘Family Portrait‘.
Joni Malmi talks about Euro Gap, Jamie Nicholls edits his own online video part, Kalle Ohlson has a bad day on a sled, The Cheers crew travels to Tahoe, the Finnish Homework B-footage looks good, Front Board Catches suck, Nike Snowboarding goes football and Nike 6.0 goes rails, Romain de Marchi is still a burly rider (and so are Jeremy Jones and Seth Huot) Don’t Mess with the Box is an average full movie from Switzerland, this is the only edit we found from the Gothenburg Rail Battle, Wille Yli-Luoma talks about being dropped from a team (and coffee, of course), in female halfpipe riding the Chinese domination begins, even though Woodward-at-Copper tries to counter this with their exquisit summer camp.
We post the legendary Euro Gap 2, Maria Thomsen’s rail riding is pretty, pretty good, The Ästhetiker hit pow kickers at the Arlberg, BHP’s Spend It All has some good sponsors, the Stubai Premiere highlight vid looks alright, Ted Borland’s movie part is sick, Yobeat follows the L1 team, the Angry Snowboarder posts the It’s on Tape flick, and Flow has a nice edit of Scotty Lago’s shenanigans at the Olympics.
NO FRIDAY (told ya)
See you next week, when it’s all about “This Week and last Friday in Snowboarding”. Have a good one!
