Frontside 180 to switch 50-50 with Simon Pircher

Approach the rail at a speed that will get you on it (maybe a little faster). You ride up the kicker pretty much flatbased, putting on slight pressure on your heel edge for the 180 rotation.Pop off the kicker and start spinning the 180, but remember to keep your eyes on the point of the rail where you want to land.
Once you land on the rail, keep your weight balanced and your shoulders square to the rail. Otherwise you will keep on spinning, and will sketch out into a boardslide thingy.
If all goes well you will be sliding down the rail switch. Focus on your landing point, land switch and ride it out.

The high point of my year used to be a train journey which took us from Wales to the South via the Black Country which to a cotruny boy like me was by far the best part. Chimneys, rust, canals, cooling towers, cranes, locomotives, northlight’ roofs and streams running slowly and sickly, oxide-red.
