ThirtyTwo is known for creating light snowboard boots, and now the brand will hold the record for creating Ultralight, the Lightest. Snowboard. Boot. Ever!, debuting at SIA. Nobody wants a heavy snowboard boot weighing them down, and the Ultralight is 24 percent lighter than ThirtyTwo’s lightest boot from last season. It’s also the first rubberless snowboard boot ever, and it utilizes a lightweight minimalist shell to eliminate excess weight.

The Ultralight is a great freestyle and freeride boot with an advanced articulating cuff shell construction that allows the upper section of the boot to move independently, creating consistent heel hold through the full flex range as well as smoother flex. The Ultralight features an STI Evolution FoamTM one-piece midsole/outsole, and a 3-D Molded Tongue for easier lacing, improved fit and heel hold. It also contains STI System G2TM in the heel to absorb shock and prevent heel bruises.

Following in the footsteps of Quiksilver Deep, the first surfing watch to give information on all surfing spots, the Yeti is a 100% snow watch. It is the first to calculate the incline of the slope, it displays the weather and offers all the advantages of a barometric altimeter as well as many other practical functions (stopwatch, alarms, dual display, racing countdown, etc.). The Yeti was designed to meet the expectations of riders. Each of these functions is made for them. Its ease of use is only equalled by the complexity of its technology. The height of accuracy at its zenith!

Each mode can easily be accessed thanks to large pushbuttons that can even be operated wearing gloves. The liquid crystal letters are oversized intentionally to be read just with a glance…

Barometer mode:
Gives the atmospheric pressure (displayed in the central section), the temperature and a 3-hour weather forecast indicated by an icon.

Altimeter mode:
One more piste and you know that you’ve skied down as many kilometres as you’d hoped to today… All is recorded scrupulously in the watch – a genuine report of your daily exploits.

The altitude is displayed in real time every … second as you ascend. An ascending or descending arrow indicates the changes and progress.

The digital compass:
It indicates the shortest path to the station or the one to take for maximum safety. An essential tool for safety in the mountains.

Measuring the incline of the slope:
An exclusive feature of the Yeti. The watch incorporates a spirit gauge that allows the incline of the slope to be taken, or the slope just taken, to be calculated in just a few seconds.

And also…
The Yeti is equipped with a race timer, a specific countdown that lets you know how much time is left before starting a half pipe or a border cross, striking each minute and then the last ten seconds before the “final attack”! Countdown, calendar, 100th-second stopwatch, dual display.

Lib-speak aside, we can only say that it works, with noticeably better edge hold on ice and, basically, a blast to shred on.
