The opening of the Beginner Park in the Atomic Superpark Dachstein in October, was the kickoff of a great pre-winter season. And thanks to the great conditions, the fun in the snow has no end yet: the Park is open until 13th of December.
The first snowfall in mid-October heralded the start of one of the the best autumn seasons in the Atomic Superpark on the Dachstein Glacier so far. Already on the 23rd of October the Beginner Park presented itself in perfect conditions and one week later, also the Pro Area was open for all freestyle maniacs. So the signs already stood good in advance, when the season 2009/2010 in the region Schladming-Dachstein reached its peak! From13.11. to 15.11.2009 the Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam 09, a TTR 4 Star event took place in the height of 2.600 metres – and the party went crazy: More than 120 riders from over 15 nations, loads of parties and a high-class slopestyle setup – that are all the ingredients that you need for an awesome event!
Shortly after the Contest the Dachstein Glacier became the hotspot for the sponsor shootings of Atomic, Horsefeathers, Adidas and Blue Tomato. Once again the park sparkled in the sunlight and impressed with its great shape. Many riders like Marc Swoboda, Seppi Scholler, Flo Galler and Max Weickl and showed their skills on a perfect bluebird day.
And it definitely looks like the pre-season isn’t over yet: The Atomic Superpark is open until the 13th of December! The current temperatures are perfect for optimal freestyle conditions and for the crew to shape the park daily. Although all riders are waiting eagerly for the snow to come, there is no better amusement than a nice day on the Dachstein Glacier – that’s for sure! So be smart and enjoy the last time until the Atomic Superpark Dachstein finally closes his gates. But, there’s no need to be sad as the Horsefeathers Superpark Planai opens its gates on the 19th of December – isn’t this a perfect transition?
