Bohny Snowpark Feldberg - Spot Report

We sat down with the QParks crew a couple of weeks ago, and when they told us about this park project, we were stoked on it. And if you live anywhere close to Southwestern Germany, you should be, too!

The first snowpark season on the Feldberg has been more than successful, and the park was immensely popular with the vibrant local scene. Now the Snowpark Feldberg returns in grand scale – with Sport Bohny, Two Fifty und Nike 6.0 as new partners and a smoking hot QParks Tour Contest as the sportive highlight of the winter! Moreover, the setup will be upgraded massively in the season 2011/2012 and shine in new splendor.
Before the winter has even properly started, there is already great news from the “Highest“ in the Schwarzwald. With Sport Bohny including TWO FIFTY and Nike 6.0m, no less than two new partners are courting the Feldberg and will accompany the Bohny Snowpark Feldberg into a bright future. And if that wasn’t enough, there will be a QParks Tourstop on the Feldberg for the first time – the TWO FIFTY Masters Feldberg! For those who don’t know yet: The QParks Tour was established last year as an international freestyle tour with open contests for SNOWBOARDER and FREESKIER. This form gives all talents an excellent opportunity to win fancy prices and gain a reputation in the European scene!

This year, there are also great novelties in the setup. The park will be extended by several fantastic jibs, such as a Tank with 3m length and 80cm in diameter. Thanks to the many possibilities provided by these new elements, there will be an incredible Jibline consisting of 10 Jibs, which makes it the longest Jibline in Germany. This monster line will include 6 rails, among which an 8m Rail with connector and a 6m Industry Cannon Rail. Further new acquisitions such as an 8m Straight Box, a 6m Industry Flat Rail or a 7m Industry Kink Rail will ensure freestyle fun deluxe in the Snowpark Feldberg!

Apart from the park, the skiing resort Feldberg also offers a total of 30 kilometers of sunny ski pistes, the FIS World Cup track as well as marked freeride routes. Winter’s joys for young and old, freestylers and piste riders in a diverse area in the middle of the beautiful Schwarzwald – so tough snowpark rippers can safely bring along their entire families. No one will get bored here, that’s for sure!
