What: Open Rookie Slopestyle Contest
Good news for young boarders: the European Rookie Tour by Burton, the BURTON AM TOUR, is going into it’s second Winter season in Wildhaus. After a successful premiere in the last season, the funpark Wildhaus offers again the perfect terrain for about 60 committed Swiss rookies, who want to show their amazing tricks.
The AM Tour is a must for all amateur snowboarders who dream of becoming a pro one day. The young riders compete against each other and can win the title of the Burton AM Tour Champion but also collect points for the TTR ranking; to be put on the same world cup ranking list as their idols.
The Burton AM Tour starts in October 2006 and will end in April 2007. There are 18 stops in 15 European countries, including Latvia, Estonia and Bulgaria. In Switzerland the tour will stop at Les Les Crosets and Wildhaus.
Who can enter? Snowboarders born 1987 or later, there will be a maximum of 80 participants

Training: Starts at 9.30am at the funpark Wildhaus
Burton AM Tour Contest: Starts at 11am at the funpark Wildhaus
Side program: Fort Row DJ Crew, Foodstation, Bar, Chill-Out Zone, Park Soccer Field
Test centre: Burton Wax & Tuning Station, free helmet and back protector text center by R.E.D.
