Burton Build Star Wars Themed Snowpark in Sierra-at-Tahoe

02:06PM Mon, 20th February 2012

The Yoda Riglet Park’s Star Wars theme will probably appeal to the rad dads more than the 3- to 6-year-olds it’s aimed at, but the fact that Burton have buddied up with Sierra-at-Tahoe to create a kid-oriented park is frickin’ awesome whichever way you look at it.

While nothing will ever redeem George Lucas for taking a Death Star-sized dump on one of our favourite childhood movies with his horrendous prequels, this is at least pretty cool. All the features are geared towards guiding übergroms through their first attempts at freestyle in a zone of their own under the watchful eye of Master Yoda with kid-friendly features and a bunch of sculptures of characters from the films. We can’t imagine it’ll be long before the Jar Jar Binks one is decapitated, though…
