Burton European Open 2010 Kicks Off this Weekend.
The 11th edition of the BEO is warming up over in Laax in preparation for it’s opening day on January 9, and we’ve got a little teaser showing some of last year’s highlights and getting you in the mood for the circus-themed pipe and slopestyle showdown.
Riders like Mathieu Crepel, Markku Koski, Marko Grilc, Iouri Podladtchikov and Tim Humphries are already confirmed and, what with where snowboarding has pushed itself this season already, we’re expecting a showdown of epic proportions. The Sounds play at the closing party on January 16 so, as usual, it seems the evenings will be as on point as the action on the hill.
Onboard will be on site to report back on tales of snowboarding on steroids from the beginning of next week.
