The Folgefonna Snowboard and Ski Summer Camp is back again this year with camps running from 25th June to 14th July 2007.
The site has had a record number of snow this year reached levels of up to 8 metres so far. With 10 times more snow than in 2006, we all know that this means bigger jumps, more backcountry possibilities and all-summer shredding!
There are three different camps running this season: Camp 1 runs from 25th–30th June; Camp 2 from 2nd–7th of July (pro week) and Camp 3 from 9th–14th July.
The second week of camp is Pro Week. This is when the biggest and most photo-worthy features will really be challenged so that the pros can go off and the media staff can capture all the action on film. they’ve got their own Fonna superpark and a couple of teams, including the crew from Nitro, are already signed up…
Emil Fosshiem has been invited to head-up the digger crew, which means they’ve now got the toughest and most hard working crew ever.
For 450 Euros per person for one week, you get tickets, coaching, accommodation, daily transport and activities.
There are a choice of cabins and houses for accommodation and we have ten coaches from around the world who are all trained and skilled to show you their techniques. As well as all the snow action, we also offer many off-snow activities including windsurfing, kiteboarding, football, basketball, wakeboarding, trampolines, pubs, parties, DJs, live music and karaoke.
On top of all this, there are loads of events going on such as live bands and weekly snowboard and skateboard competitions for you to take part in.
They pride the camp on having a chilled atmosphere, quality coaching and a quality park – and invite you all to come and join in.
They also hire new camp employees every year. For more information about this or anything else you want to find out, visit the website at www.folgefonna.no
