For me these are the two main ideas of the communication, and aim purely economic benefits for Burton, take possession of good product innovations (anyone remember where you first saw the channel system? Was a Forum board not a Burton board), eliminate competition and a means to solve the lack of Burton brand identity (the Burton identity today it&#039;s just Custom and CUstom X, Terje and Burton Open) in recent years (lack of identity caused by the output of the main snowboarders (RMarchi, DCP, TFuse, GRuff, MJonsson, FKalbermatten; KKokubo... Lack of good ideas accepted by the snowboarders and able to show that in any aspect Burton is better than others.

I do not understand if Burton are a snowboard company where fits Gravis and Channel Island? Brands sell well somewhere and therefore remain on the group.

With such a large investment in facilities for product innovation why not optimize this investment and also use the space to innovate Forum boards and Forum twin brands?

This decision are sad for the snowboard world and was taken again by the brand that until a few years ago was seen as a model of what should be a snowboards brand... The message it&#039;s clear: &quot;ECONOMY ARE IN FRONT OF SNOWBOARD&quot;...

Perhaps a better message is: &quot;LET&#039;S FIGHT THE ECONOMIC PROBLEMS WITH SNOW(CREA)ATIVITY&quot;
