Team Oakley take the win Down Under.
They’re a funny lot, them Aussies. While us Euros are content to throw it down on your regular slopestyle course, the Viccies prefer to mix it up and jump small buildings in a single bound. Like Superman, but without the red Y-Fronts. Or something. At this innovative event at Mt Buller, it was Team Oakley who took out the Dew Hut Jam in style, pocketing $12,000 in prize money in the process and showing what they’re made of on a specially built course with rideable ‘house’ at its centre.
The Dew Hut Jam is the richest freestyle snowboarding contest in the country and is a 3Star event on the Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour. Check the moving pictures.
