Kicking off into the 2006/07 snowboarding season, RIDE Snowboards is proud to welcome two new entries to the their European snowboard team. Austrian Marco Feichtner and Swiss Reto Kestenholz will be representing the US-American core snowboard brand in the future.
Marco Feichtner has been travelling the world as a pro rider since 2004 with his most impressive sequences represented in the Pirates Movie Productions’ films. Having grown up in the backcountry of his home resort Silvretta Nova, Austria, Marco is passionately tracking the powder faces in his video parts. Yet, 23-year-old Feichtner also knows how to show his style in the park and pipe. For the upcoming winter season Marco chose the DH and the Society as his favourite RIDE tools.
Next new entry to the European team of RIDE Snowboards is Swiss boy Reto Kestenholz (27) who had to deal with quite a few injuries in the past. Nevertheless he was able to make a name for himself in the snowboard community and achieve some decent contest results. Reto will definitely continue to ride TTR contests as well as shoot for some major video productions. He is also going to roam his home resort Zermatt as a rider and head shaper of the local Gravity Park. He has been snowboarding for 15 years with his favourite spot being Meiringen/Hasliberg (SUI) in the Bernese Oberland. He talks of RIDE’s Fleetwood and Dose as his highlight boards.
Of course, members of the RIDE Europe team Nicolas Droz (FRA), Jari Tuoriniemi (FIN) and Jusso Laivisto (FIN) will continue to ride for RIDE in 2006/07.
