WeSC is giving out free headphones in a international webcampaign
WeSC are challenging music lovers everywhere to create a cover of the 80´s hit Physical or create a totally new track inspired by the Superlative Conspiracy themselves
When you reach the site you will be given a chance to upload either a cover of the song Physical or a newproduction inspired by WeSC. Everyone that contributes gets a free pair of WeSC headphones.
The ten best contributors will be invited to London and the big WeSC party at Vicebar on the 3rd of June.. At the party WeSC activists and our friends within the Superlatvie Conspiracy will mingle and socialize. There will also be and exclusive performance by the artists featured on the collectiveCD for Let´s Get Physical. The winners will be selected by a jury consisting of special invitees from the music industry together with WeSC and Vice. The jury will ground their descision on ranking and number of listenings.
The inspiration for this contest has sprung out of the exclusive collectable CD Let´s Get Physical with WeSC that has been produced together with the spring campaign. On the record 12 internationally known artists have created their version of the song Physical; Olivia Newton Johns Billboard hit from 1981. The record touches all music genres, it contains everything from rock to electro to rap.

The artists that have taken part in his CD are activists and friends within the Superlative conspiracy. Some of the artists that are on the record are: Timbuktu a swedish rapper, Chrods, the pop/electro sensation Cat5, well renowned DJ Stretch Armstrong with the band Doomington, the swedish actor Peter Stormare with the band Blond From Fargo, the belgian duo The Glimmers, the brittish DJ Lisa Loud aka ”lady of dance” thats working together with the producer Kriss Darang and the singer Hollie Cook; daughter of Sex Pistols Paul Cook.
All of these artist will also be releasing music videos. The first video to be released is Timbuktus, and it is produced by the YouTube star Lasse ”youtube-lasse” Gjertsen. The video was recorded at Berns nightclub in Stockholm and can now be viewed on YouTube, MySpace Video and Google video.
