Huge ice walls above the see. Nothing like I've ever seen before... - photos: playmakercommunication.com

“It’s been two days since we’ve left Ushuaia. We still haven’t reach the peninsula and I’ve spent most of my time lying in bed to avoid the sea sickness. I’ve puked a bunch of times…. but the sea seems to be getting better as we are approaching South Georgia Island.

2bis-landscape

The landscape is far beyond what I could expect

It’s quite unreal the atmosphere there is, crossing the famous Drake passage (worst crossing in the world), surrounded by these massive waves. We’ve seen a few whales already, the crew is really excited despite the long journey… Can’t wait to see what’s on the other side…!”
