On the biggest kicker ever built at the ski resort Rogla, Slovene snowboarder Marko Grilc tried to overcome himself over the past few days, and ended up in overcoming the power of a motor. He jumped over Canadian Ross Mercer while the latter was simultaneously jumping over the same object on a snowmobile! The 27-year-old, born and raised in Ljubljana fulfilled his wish to crown his extremely successful season with a very special project. In Slovenia!

Lord of the board since the age of 7, Marko Grilc has been a member of the biggest snowboard producer Burton for the past 10 years, and for the past 4 year he has been designing his own board as well as working on clothing designs. As besides Vogel there are no adequate slopes in Slovenia, he spends most of his time in Austria. Throughout his more than 10-year-long career, he has had one success after the other. In his youth, he won 4 Youth World Championships.

In the season 2008/2009 he returned to competitions, rode for the Slovene team and won the 2nd place in overall ranking in FIS Big Air. On December 4, 2009, he won the TTR 6Star Billabong Air & Style and became a legend.

Besides competing, he is active also in the film industry. So far he was featured in “91 words for snow“, “Gap session“, “Draw the line“, “Thanks in advance“, “Overseas” and “B“.

We all know who he is and what he did. Better check what he did last week on Rogla…ACTION
