The crew at Grasgehren have been stoking us out with their park edits this season, and this latest one of the haps when World Snowboard Day rolled around is no exception. The GG unit dropped lift tickets to 15 bucks, Planet Sports and Hoven fired up the grill and a crew of dudes including  Michi Zirngibl, Felix Georgii, Tajo Seefried, Flo Geiger, Flo Geiger and Aron Holtermann got nasty on the jibs. Smith Optics are boarding the webisode train with their new show “We Travel”, featuring all their Euro team riders.

We are very proud of our team and don’t want to hold off the results of their hard work. Therefore we created the project “We Travel”. The idea behind that project was to send our team riders out into different terrains and let them do what they do best: ride. At the end we got five episodes: park, powder, urban, USA and the Smith shoot.

The first episode is called “USA”. Our Team riders Fabian Fassnacht, Matthias Vogt, Stefano Munari, Aron Holtermann and Mario Käppeli travelled around the States; from Lake Tahoe to the Northstar Park, from Squaw Valley and Seven Springs to Mammoth and June. Some Rock’n’Roll attitude, deep powder and lots of fun, that’s the first episode of “We Travel”. Enjoy the video!

Although the weather was clearly not on their side, the Smith team still managed to have a great week in Val Senales this May. As you couldn’t see your own nose in the fog all week long, they simply decided to switch to darkness when you can’t see anything anyway and had some great night sessions.
