JP Walker brought together a group of snowboarding’s most talented riders for the day-long Handplant Holiday at Bear Mountain. World class planters were treated to a set up unlike anything seen before, created by the innovative park crew at Bear. The exclusive set up, unique team aspect, and jam format, combined with the relaxed and friendly vibe, gave the riders the opportunity to concentrate on their handplant progression as they went for tricks from the hard to undoable lists. Featuring: JP Walker, Jeremy Jones, Simon Chamberlain, Scott Stevens, Marko Grilc, Chris Grenier, Pat Bridges, Cody Rosenthal, Tim Eddy, Ben Bilocq and special guests Dave Downing and Dale Rehberg.

Louif Paradis, Will Lavigne, LNP, Nic Sauve, Ben Bilocq… these dudes and the rest of their Quebec crew blew the doors off when they came on the scene, and now they’re back under one movie banner and it’s looking AWESOME.

There’s little doubt that this crew of riders from Quebec had a massive impact on the evolution of urban shredding when they started getting attention in the mid-2000s. Now, after their career paths have taken them on many roads they’re back together shooting for a movie they call Deja Vu, and this third ‘prologue’ is part history of the riders, part documentary of their first few reunion sessions filming for the movie that’ll drop fall 2013 – and will make you shake.

“DejaVu is a snowboard movie project reuniting 8 friends who grew up riding together. Produced in 2006, Bandwagon has been the only movie featuring the 8 riders in a single project. Since then each and everyone of them took their own path into the snowboard industry, working and filming for various movies such as Videograss, Rome, Forum, Standard, etc… Six years later, the time has come to bring the crew back together and produce a full release that will leave a long lasting footprint. This is a collective project in which all the riders are deeply involved into the creative process, bringing to life their own vision of snowboarding.Everyone is driven more than ever to commit and bring their best performance yet.The goal isn’t just to bring snowboarding one step ahead, but doing it in a way that transpires the crew’s authenticity and dynamism.”

There’s a new project in the works from a notoriously hardgrafting, street slaying French Canadian crew made up of, amongst others, LNP, Louif Paradis, Will Lavigne and Nic Sauve. This is the teaser for Deja Vu, and it is awesome.

To give it its proper name, we should have titled this post Deja Vu – Prologue Part One – Precognition but then you probably would have no idea what this was and overlooked it to watch more cat porn. But toss in the names of some of the bad boys behind this project and all of a sudden we’ve got your attention – these French Canadians have been at the forefront of shaking up urban riding in recent times, and they’re now mid-way through the production schedule of a two-year project that’s gonna light the lights.

Throughout their second season of shooting they’ll be dropping regular hammer-filled webisodes before the release of the full movie in roughly a year’s time from now. We’re partners with the crew, so you can be sure we’ll feed you exclusive hammers direct to your eyeholes of this crew of heavy hitters.
