Now it all makes sense. Role Model Productions dropped their 10th snowboard movie ONE MO’ GAIN, featuring Zac Rawles, Jared Jordan, Austin Julik-Heine, Kyle Hay, Chedda, Madison Ellseworth, Colin Spencer and Chad Otterstrom. Yes, the same Chad Otterstrom that saw his part released earlier this month.

Honestly, we have no idea what this is. It is some sort of Chad Otterstrom best of video including some very old and some very new stuff, loads of strange effects, music, and an odd end. But since Chad has been around in snowboarding since God was a boy the video by Role Model Productions is full of some excellent snowboarding.

Does anyone remember the SixEleven ‘It’s Our Fault’ teaser we posted a year ago? We know, we know, it’s hard enough remembering last night! Well, SixEleven is a film crew from Colorado, and apparently, they are about to drop this fine movie part by part, starting with the O’Neill flagship Celia Miller and Colorado legend Chad Otterstrom. Why they used this song? We don’t have a clue.

When it’s all said and done, who’s to really blame? Most likely it’s a group effort of all parties involved, but sometimes you just have to point the finger at someone.
With most of our time this season spent getting hurt, pulling pranks, being american, or bailing people out of jail, there was barely enough time to focus on filming a movie. So it is the riders? Or maybe the filmers? Well, one thing is for sure, plain and simple… IT’S OUR FAULT!

Time Travel Tuesdays – Video Gangs

The Time Machine got a little waylaid of late, but it’s back with a vengeance this week as it unearths this killer full movie from the year 2003 – Forum, Jeenyus, Foursquare and Special Blend’s classic, Video Gangs. Peep it.

After a couple of MDP-produced team movies, Forum and co. hired Sean Johnson (previously of Wildcats fame) to produce Video Gangs. As well as having the regular roster of Forum über pros like Bjorn Leines, Devun Walsh, Joni Malmi (though no JP Walker as, rumour had it, he’d signed a deal to only film with Mack Dawg), Video Gangs also included Jeenyus riders (RIP Jeenyus, you were awesome) Eddie Wall, Andreas Wiig and Chad Otterstrom, and also introduced the world to a young Finnish rookie fresh off the production line – Lauri Heiskari. In addition to all this, it also inspired a hack on the internet to write a paragraph with an excess of parentheses in it nearly 8 years later.

That being said, this sure takes us back. Enjoy.

Bluebird Wax’s AlpenHOff Teaser

Bluebird Wax are going to release a movie this Fall. It’s been filmed almost entirely in Switzerland and will feature some of the most epic snowboard legends on the planet: Kurt Wastell, Chad Otterstrom, Adam Dowell, Nico Muller, Freddy Kalbermatten, Chuck T, and a special celebrity guest. (which might or might not be David Hasselhoff!)

Just a lil’ something to brighten up a very sober Monday afternoon. Role Model’s full movie I’m with Stupid dropped a couple of days ago. Some of the filming will not be considered for an Academy Award, but must of the riding is fairly dope… but judge yourself!
