Snowboard photography is not all about good riding and capturing the right moment: In order to keep things fresh a fair bit of creativity is required, too. As photog Cole Barash demonstrated during this shoot, where he used a canvas to highlight the tricks of the riders. The design was a little too much in your face...

With most of the Onboard crew gone for the next couple of days This Week in Snowboarding would almost be a tedious exercise – if it wasn’t for the tons of good clips, good interviews, and also good nonsense we found on the intertubes over the last seven days. SATURDAY

Snowboarder Magazine unearths more Scott Stevens clips. Some In Color bonus stuff dropped, and here’s even more of it. You want to build your own park? Check the Jibs for Cribs. 3D Diaspora is a Polish film project about rap, metal, disco, and snowboarding. Eiki Helgason and Will Lavigne battle it out in a game of shred.

SUNDAY

The Angry Snowboarder brings us yet another full movie – this time last season’s K2 team vid. He also brings us the Outlaw Outruns teaser that shows that pickup trucks and snowboarders don’t go together. You might think print is dead – but some people even created a new shred mag! And photog Christian Brecheis posts a great shot!

MONDAY

We post Nitro’s gobsmacking Turn on, Tune in, Drop out teaser, and the highlights from the Billabong Bro Down (Under). Transworld Snowboarding’s In Color Week continues with Jake OE. Snowboarder Magazine posts a lot of clips from Another Day in Paradise. Breckenridge gets a 22-foot superpipe (and Nike as their Dew Tour sponsor). Mikey Rencz really owns a beer credit card. Burton collaborates with Married to the Mob. And more tattoos for the Helgasons.

TUESDAY

We post the full AK urban gnar Bear Cubs movie. The second Peep Show teaser is out. Jake Kuzyk (hope you know him) gets interviewed in… Disneyland! It’s Always Snowing Somewhere, especially here (full movie)! This is how you have yourself a chill little backyard session in September. It’s All Good is a shred flick from Bulgaria. The Deeluxe Positivity Camp looks fun. The TahoeDangerzone posts an emotional season recap. This is what riding on Liberty Mtn’s Snowflex looks like. Our senior Cole Barash has terrible handwriting. The 9191 Gigi Rüf movie definitely looks banger! Analog’s Design Unlikely Features contest generated just that. The In Color Week continues with the street and powder montage and the B footage montage. Anton Gunnarson proves that snowboard contests and black metal go together. Kind of. You’re still wondering who that Kuzyk guy is? It’s him! The Outlaw Outruns teaser is full of funky bails. And if you were wondering what Hampus Mosesson has been up to in Argentina, it’s all here.
