Our wrap-up of 2011′s most popular video content on our site concludes with the two most viewed pages. Unsurprisingly there’s a horror slam in there. Surprisingly, the top spot went to a video that’s not strictly speaking snowboarding. Have a look at what they were.

2nd – Near Death: Darrah Reid-McLean’s Minnesota Fence Slam

Oh sweet baby Jesus. To this day we have no idea how Peep Show rider Darrah Reid-McLean was able to walk after folding her back like a taco on that rail, let alone be able to ride again last season to put down a solid part in Winter Wars. Though we posted it in March and have seen it several times since, watching this still makes us weep.

1st – Mindblowing Snowskating Video

And number 1 in our chart of the most popular videos posted to the Onboard website in 2011 is… erm… not even a snowboarding video. But the machine doesn’t lie and it is certainly a mindblowing clip showing some full-on legit snowskating. We’d imagine there’s gonna be a couple of people with one of these in their lockers for bad weather days this winter.

This clip shows a lot of the well-known Peep Show gnarliness, so we would deem this a must-watch for snowboarders of every gender. Near Death 3: Darrah Reid-McLean’s Minnesota fence slam

The Peepshow crew just launched their new PMS webisodes with their girl Darrah Reid-McLean slamming into a fence in Minnesota big time. A great addition to our new “Near Death” category!

Edit: Since a few people asked, she did not sustain serious injuries, or to put it with Peepshow’s words: “Yes, Darrah is okay guys.”

Jib Double-Post

Last night not one but two decent jib clips appeared in the wide prairies of the internet: First of all, the L1/Nitro crew stopped by The Canyons for a shred session. Then, the Russian WeAre2012 crew took the ferry to Finland and destroyed the Talma resort.

Peep Show Productions is a much acclaimed ladies-only movie crew, who recently stunned the other half of snowboarding by putting out the awesome ‘Let’s Make Better Mistakes Tormorrow‘ teaser. They are back with an “PMS edit” from the High Cascade Snowboard Camp.
