We’re not gonna lie: there’s certainly more awe-inspiring snowboard related videos on this website. The Norwegian snowboarder, who was nominated “Rookie Of The Year” in 2009 by the Norwegian Snowboard Federation, joined the Endeavor army.

“Petter joins friends and fellow Scandinavian shredders Torgeir Berre and Kareem El Rafie on our team. Kareem and Petter will be rolling around Scandinavia and Europe throughout the fall and winter filming for various projects. They will also be counting down the days until Torgeir is ready to return to the mountains,” says Max Jenke, Endeavor’s Managing Director. “Petter’s style is sick and I’m hyped to have him part of the Endeavor family.”

“I chose to ride with Endeavor because the brand is down-to-earth and the people there used to be pro riders,” says Petter. “I had an immediate connection, both on a snowboarding level and on a personal level. Images of people walking across snowy mountainsides instantly evokes emotion, even from non snowboarders. There is something completely lonely, yet completely spiritual about it. It’s a nice balance. That’s kinda what I set out to capture in this commercial / experimental film for Endeavor. The obscure balance of the snowboard life.

It was a 3 month trek…longer than the average commercial shoot but I believe the depth of it will resonate more than the average commercial. Jody Wachniak was amazing, a real gentleman…I actually amped up his “player” factor for the purposes of the commercial.

The 22 years old Norwegian from Elverum joins Kale Stephens, Kevin Griffin, Kareem El Rafie, Johnny Lyall, and Jody Wachniak on the Endeavor Snowboards’ international team.

Although Berre is mostly know for insane street rail killing, he sees himself more as an all rounder: “I started to skate in grade three and the year after that I got a board for Christmas. I have been snowboarding ever since. It’s fun to ride a small streetrail or sketchy kinks, take laps in the park, cruise pow and hit big kickers. I just love all of it. I have so much fun trying everything on anything.”

Berre films with Norway’s Ducksjen and started a two year project this winter with Process Films. He has also filmed with Factorfilms and Isenseven.

Normally killing rails round about his hometown Stockholm, the Swede with the oriental sounding name has now spread his realms over the big pond all the way to Vancouver and joined the Endeavor team.
