It’s New Year’s eve so get the party started by watching this killer full movie from Factor Films from back in 2008.

So there we were researching (read: idling trying to do anything but the job at hand) Eiki, Halldor and Gulli for a forthcoming mag article on Iceland when we happened upon Factor Films’ awesome release from 2008, Notes. As you’ll see, even back then these three were already kinda a big deal (Halldor’s ender is still frickin nuts), and it’s also full of a bunch of other shit-hot Scandos who’ll you’ll have heard of. Check it out.

Ståle is the shit. But what with him scoring not only the cover of this month’s Onboard, but bagging himself the main interview too, you probably knew that.

Sad but true…

The Norwegian film crew headed up by Petter Foshaug has called time on its snowboard moviemaking days.

For the last few years these guys have been responsible for giving us a first glimpse of the staggering talent pool that’s been spreading through Scandinavia, and amongst others has helped introduce us to the likes of Torstein Horgmo, the Helgason brothers and Ulrik Badertscher. As a nice epitaph, Petter’s banged together this short edit of but some of the hammers, good times, slams and carnage from the likes of Notes, Up In The Sky and last winter’s epic, They Came From.
