Flow have upped the ante for next season’s binding, boot and snowboard range and here our mate Jens will whisk you through three of their key models. Check them out.

The NX2 binding is all-new for 12-13 and features Flow’s patented easy entry system as ever, but this time round the strap opens up to make getting in even more hassle-free, and it’s more two-strappy than ever before. They’ve bro’d down with Vibram for the sole on the lightweight Hylite boot that features the BOA Focus system and as for boards… well, they’ve got a giant pair of hooters on this one here – the Breast Board Ever. Silicon under the norks give epic dampening for a super smooth ride.

Nial Romanek is a kid out of Minnesota that transplanted to the beautiful town of Truckee, California. He has a great attitude towards life and it shows in his riding. We’re not gonna lie: there’s certainly more awe-inspiring snowboard related videos on this website. However, anyone who has the horn for new gear will find this clip right up their alley (and yesterday’s 2012/13 Snowboard Sneak Peek video too for that matter). If you’re after a more nuts and bolts breakdown of what the boards are all about, swing back next week as ISPO is on and we’ll be getting the reps to break their vow of silence and break the new kit down. ‘WAS HERE’ follows the Flow Snowboarding Team on a worldwide seek-and-destroy mission. While no stranger to the global contest podium, the Flow team now taps into their alter ego to bring you some of the year’s heaviest riding, throwing down in the streets and leaving lines in the backcountry.

Starring: Scotty Lago, Tim Humphreys, Scot Brown, Mike Basich, Sarka Pancochova, Jeremy Thompson, Brandon Reis, Nial Romanek, Ian Thorley, Andre Kuhlmann and Shane Fortier.

Filmed on location in Alaska, Austria, California, Canada, Colorado, Germany, Idaho, Japan, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, and Oregon.

Once and for all: Flow Snowboarding is not just about unique bindings. These guys have a banging boot line, some sick boards, and besides all of that a team that is fingerlickin’ good. Examples? Scotty Lago, Tim Humphreys, Jeremy Thompson, Sarka Pancochova, and the list goes on an on… Well, we hit Flow up at the 2011 ispo tradeshow, and their product guys were kind enough to run us through their highlight products for the upcoming 2011/2012 season.

First of all, their designs look really striking, and that’s down to them teaming up with a bunch of dope artists and doing some crazy collaborations.

The edit kicks off with their Highlight boot: It features Focus Boa with an internal patent pending zipfit lacing. The upper material is made of recycled PET. Then there’s the Rift boot: quickfit lacing + Scotty Lago’ customised colourway.

And then it is on to the bindings: The FSC binding is the top end, all bells and whistles set of bindings that will make your heart make boom-boom-boom. And finally some boards, such as the Drifter, a directional rocker from awesomnia, and the “Shifty“, one of the most versatile boards we came across at the trade show. Overall, a really solid range with quite a few unique highlights!
