12-year-old Markus Kleveland Smashes Folgefonna

Check out the Norwegian Boy Wonder Markus Kleveland as he puts a grommet-sized smackdown on Folgefonna’s summer setup. He’s a bit too good.

You might remember we posted a video of young buck Markus back in winter, when the 12-year-old übergrom was filmed stomping Cab double corks, and now we’ve got another clip for you that’ll have your heads shaking.

This bro-cam edit starts out all nice and mellow, with the kind of riding you’d expect of a talented pre-teen (Ok, maybe the frontflip aside), but as soon as he gets on the rails and, later, the kickers it’s clear that this boy’s got skills way beyond his years.

Ducksjen’s Folgefonna Junkyard Session

The Norwegian Ducksjen film crew took the entirely unexpected move of hooking up with their Scandic archenemies – the Swedes (more precisely Junkyard.com) – to film what went down on their li’l summer session in Folgefonna. We must say we like the cut of the Ducksjen jib – there’s always something refreshingly alternative to their edits and this one is no different.

So check out Alek Oestreng, Ludde Lejkner and co. getting it on. Tasty.

Erik Botner, Fredrik Evensen, Stian Solberg, Kalle Ohlson, Len Jorgensen, Ståle Sandbech, and Eirik Nesse were in Folgefonna for a Burn Energy shoot. While waiting for the weather to improve (like the rest of us all over Europe, really) they did a few park laps that ended up in this short clip by Kristofer Fahlgren. Enjoy!

Random Bastards do Folgefonna

Well how’s that for a title? There’s a point to it, though: Gustav Een fired in this edit of the randomly named Random Bastards crew shooting for their new movie, Tentacle, in Folgefonna.

Here’s exactly what he said: “Here’s a little “shredit” from a shoot in Folgefonna last month, with Junkyard.com for the upcoming Random Bastards movie “Tentacle”"

“We had a bangin’ week in Folgefonna with the Junkyard team this june. The weather was pretty unstable but we ended up having some great days riding after all.

I pulled out my camera a few times along the week, riders in attendance: Niklas Mattsson, Ludwig Lejkner, Anton Bilare, Even Brekke & Len Jörgensen.

The other footage will be seen in Random Bastards new movie “Tentacle” (Teaser droppin soon) and in a longer Junkyard edit coming soon.”

So we watched it and figuring it’d be one of the rare occasions we could get away with saying look check it out there’s a bunch of random bastards radding off in Folgfonna, we posted it…

Norwegians shred Folgefonna

We’re not sure what to think about the fact that our staff photog Olav Stubberud filmed his buddies shredding up at Folgefonna instead of taking some pictures. Well, at least it’s good for the internet world – as this edit is quite fun to watch! Our photo ed is convinced all riders are credited in the video, but I am not so sure about that…

Antti Autti’s Folgefonna Whiteout Session

This rad clip of Antti Autti and buddy Joel Lahti shredding Folgefonna in a whiteout is sick. And will also make you feel sick. Sick!

Riding in a whiteout is possibly one of the weirdest experiences you can have on a snowboard. With no way of knowing where’s up, where’s down, and what the hell is coming up in front of you it always makes for an interesting time. Finnish slayer Antti Autti headed to Folgefonna with his homie Joel Lahti and scored perfect whitebird for pretty much their entire stay. They didn’t get bummed, though, they shredded the whiteout and knocked together this headspinning edit.
