Feast your eyes on this preview of the new clothing and snowboard line up that Icon Snowboards are gonna be tempting you with this coming 2011/2012 season.

Icon Snowboards was started with a strong philosophy of performance, quality and style and a decade later this philosophy, as well as their dedication and love for snowboarding, still remains. Now with the awesome Finnish rail slayer Fredu Sirviö on the team, Icon are going from strength to strength and their new 2011/2012 product line is definitely worth checking out.

First on show is the new Lick board which boasts a twin tip, reverse camber and nice soft flex – perfect for freestyle, jibbing and tearing up the powder. As far as graphics go, the classic Icon pop-sickle design remains just as sick as ever.

Next up is this year’s MDS board which looks like a prefect heavy hitting freestyle machine. With twin tips, classic camber construction and a sintered base this board is gonna be great for riding park kickers and backcountry booters.

As far as outwear products go, the Madison jacket and Fredu Sirviö’s pants from his Heartbreak Collection are looking pretty rad too. The Madison is a women’s jacket which is all about good fit and quality fabric. It has all the necessary features of a snowboard jacket but comes in a super stylish package. Another exciting new product is Fredu Sirviö’s faux leather Monroe pants from his Heartbreak collection which could well be the tightest pants on the market. Although the aesthetics are what these pants are really about they still have 10k waterproof and 10k breathable fabric to keep the elements at bay. A slick product from a slick rider.

Check the preview video above for all the details.

ICON Snowboarding is stoked to welcome Fredu Sirviö to the ICON Outerwear program.

ICON Snowboarding is stoked to welcome Fredu Sirviö to the ICON Outerwear program.

The Finnish rail slayer, also known for having some of the tightest pants in the game, is the latest addition to the ICON Outerwear roster, while he’ll remain on Stepchild Snowboards. Our photo ed was like “Dude, they’ve even gone and made the tightest pants ever for him!” Well, it turns out that was probably Fredu himself who sorted that out, as he’ll be rocking his own signature outerwear line, The Heartbreak Collection, which drops in stores autumn 2010.

ICON Marketing Manager and Head Designer Antti Bergman was pumped, and explains: “We are naturally super happy to have a rider and a person like Fredu with us. We have always been amazed by Fredu’s uncompromising style when it comes to riding as well the clothes he’s rocking. That’s why we wanted to give Fredu an opportunity to design a collection for himself so that he would finally have outerwear that he actually wants to wear and that matches his style without any compromises.”

As for Fredu, he was backing his ‘tightest pants ever made: “I’m really stoked to ride for ICON Clothing and be a part of the Immortal Cowboys of North! And even more stoked to get my own clothing line from them! I designed one pant and two jackets. The pants are pretty much the tightest snow pants ever made. It’s just perfect to have the jean look and feel combined with waterproofed stretch fabrics to make it more comfy on snow. The first jacket is called the McCoy jacket, which is inspired by my favorite guitarist Andy McCoy from Hanoi Rocks. The other jacket is called the Cash jacket. Do I even have to say who is the inspiration for that one? I’m really glad and hyped on how the clothes look and feel! Mind over matter.”
