JP Walker brought together a group of snowboarding’s most talented riders for the day-long Handplant Holiday at Bear Mountain. World class planters were treated to a set up unlike anything seen before, created by the innovative park crew at Bear. The exclusive set up, unique team aspect, and jam format, combined with the relaxed and friendly vibe, gave the riders the opportunity to concentrate on their handplant progression as they went for tricks from the hard to undoable lists. Featuring: JP Walker, Jeremy Jones, Simon Chamberlain, Scott Stevens, Marko Grilc, Chris Grenier, Pat Bridges, Cody Rosenthal, Tim Eddy, Ben Bilocq and special guests Dave Downing and Dale Rehberg.

JP Walker knows what’s up in the hood. At least in Helsinki he does, where handrails abound and the local big dogs are fluent with the jibberish. *legal note: they are in fact speaking Finnish* . How to make the best edit we’ve seen all week when you’ve slammed one too many times to get any more shots? In their latest Jibberish episode, Simon Chamberlain and JP Walker visit High Cascade Snowboard Camp at Mt Hood, and get busy skating, snowboarding playing dodgeball, and being awesome.

JP Walker, Jeremy Jones, Simon Chamberlain, and Seth Huot shared a Signature Session filled with epic snowboarding on the glacier, street skating, miniramps, dodgeball…basically the stuff of dreams. After all that riding the crew cools off at the legendary “Punch Bowl” cliff jump. That looks like 80 plus feet!

He’s not a household name in snowboarding, but his online video part is quite convincing. Which makes us wonder how many more Jibberish cuts we’ll get to see this summer…

Up-and-coming rider Blair McKinney stepped up his game this season proving himself as a rider to watch. Coming out of Ontario, Canada, Blair hooked up with homie Simon Chamberlain and JP Walker to learn the ropes in the Whistler backcountry and slay Ontario’s rails. Over the last winter JP Walker and homie Simon Chamberlain concentrated their efforts on producing their series of Jibberish webisodes that aired throughout the winter which, while featuring some bangers, equally focussed on what went on behind the scenes. Simon’s part was released a few days back (on Canada Day) and now it’s the 4th of July it’s time for JP to drop his. Check it out. Smooth intro.

There it is, the result of an entire season of filming for the web video project Jibberish. Looking for a change from the large scale production grind, Simon Chamberlain teamed up with JP Walker to embark on a series of web videos called “Jibberish” documenting Winter 2012, with the end goal of this full part, Simon worked hard all season to get this final edit stacked with bangers from the streets of Finland to the Whistler backcountry.

JP Walker and Simon Chamberlain wrap up their first season of the “Jibberish” web project by burning their snowboard gear (as you do) and talking about the highlights of their season. They kicked things off by locking down their tricks at The Spot in Utah, then it was on to deep winter sessions in Ontario and Finland, and a final trip to Whistler.
