Kevin Backström and Tor Lundström drop in with episode 2 of their Beyond Medals web series, and once again it’s a mishmash of park riding, street slaying, partying and getting broke off – KB even manages to break his leg like a boss. Check it.

In the second episode of BYND X MDLS, Kevin and Tor hit the slopes of their home mountain Ulricehamn, party in Gothenburg, and head to Oslo in search of urban spots. Cameo appearances by Halldór Helgason, Ethan Morgan, Jonas Steen, and Jakob Edman.

Swedish snowboard film crew Random Bastards were so productive last season, they released TWO full movies! The first – Blue Balls – is already viewable in all its glory on our website. The 3rd and final Chosen Session put the AMs back on familiar Chosen Series winning territory with a straight out kicker session.

The perfectly shaped 20m Kicker got a proper working as the AMs stepped up and mixed in with the Nike team, digging deep into their bags and pulling out some of the best AM riding seen all week.

The infamous Poney Session once again rocked the French resort of Saint Lary last weekend, celebrating their 10-year anniversary in style.  Norwegian Jonas Steen walked away with the slopestyle title, and if you want to know more then read on…

One of the most beautifull page has been written during Poney session 2012 !

From 8-11 March the Poney Session crew celebrated a decade of their shindig with an epic park, great riding and some heavy partying in the evenings. The theme was ‘hunting and fishing’ so it was common to see riders in moose hats, MCs dressed in their best waders and DJs in birdwatching towers, which certainly made for a surreal spectacle.

The park was perfect, with a Salomon stair set wall, Burn Big Air (complete with duck pond), A Dakine kicker with a 9m pole launch on the side and finally a Carlsberg bonk cartridge and a flat-down Horsefeathers rail. The riders, who’d swarmed in from all over Europe, lapped up the course and put down some epic stunts. The slopestyle contest proper was nabbed by Jonas Steen who blew minds with his double 12 to cab 10 combos on the booters. There were also awards for the Best Rookie and the Best Tricks on specific hits meaning the love got spread around the   dudes nicely.

There was some sick stuff going down outside the park too: the rink was customized with bar and exhibitions, such as paintings by BIZMUT and a shoot with our snapper Matt Georges to name a couple. And once the sun had set on the days of riding it’s all about the party on Saturday night: 800 people shook their assed to 7 DJs till the early morning. All in all, one hell of a way to celebrate the event’s 10-year anniversary!
