Another awesome Absinthe profile hits the airwaves – this time focussed on bunny-suited mindblower and YES co-founder, JP Solberg.

Solberg blew up in Absinthe’s Transcendence thanks to a combination of his epic style, deep bag of tricks and his stint in a bunny suit. He hasn’t looked back since and more than a decade later he’s still dropping hammers with his trademarked aplomb, not to mention running YES Snowboards with fellow Absinthe profilee, Romain de Marchi and DCP. This profile has snowboarding’s great and good waxing lyrical about JP’s skills, style, personality and more along with some sick archive footage from Absinthe Films past. Rad.

Unleash The Lens is back for 2012 so we’ll be loading up the van and blasting around the
UK during November and December to bring you two sweet snowboard movies on a double
screening bill. This year we have teamed up with YES. It’s A Movie Too and Team Vacation
from Salomon Snowboards and Bonfire.

In Team Vacation the Salomon and Bonfire crew load up a camper van and tour the US,
Europe and Japan. Jed Anderson, Chris Grenier, Bode Merrill, Scotty Arnold, Louif Paradis
plus a whole host of the Salomon Snowboard and Bonfire team hit up a tonne of resorts and
street spots including some of our very own UK domes and dryslopes. Released as a series
of web videos last season this is the complete Vacation Tour with added extras and bonus
footage.

YES. It’s A Movie Too is the second team movie from YES. Head honchos Romain De
Marchi, DCP, JP Solberg and Tadashi Fuse are joined on screen by an ever growing YES.
family including Frank April and Helen Schettini. If you like out and out killer backcountry
freestyle and insane power riding (and even a few awesome jibs) then this is definitely the film
for you.

The tour kicks off in November and runs through December. All dates are FREE to attend, we
have give-aways galore plus the now legendary Salomon Snowboards and Bonfire pick n mix.
All screenings start at 8pm, no tickets required but get there on time to avoid disappointment.
