In the world of 1260s and triple corks, 540s are easily overlooked these days. While a slow, stylish frontside 540 isn’t as technically hard as spinning your face off, it is much harder to make look good. You’ll have doubtless seen Kimmy Fasani tearing women’s snowboarding a new one in the TB20 webisode a couple weeks back, and now you get to see more of her impressive skills as she and Iris Lazzareschi hit up the bro-zone. Heaps of pow in this one – send some Euro side please.

The ante gets upped in Open Air episode 2, as Cheryl and her filmer hit up Silverton and its San Juan mountains. They couldn’t have timed their trip any better – after a heavy dump the weather switched to bluebird for almost the entire duration allowing Maas, Fasani and Beaman to rip pow lines and put down some full-on legit kicker riding. Hell, Kimmy and Cheryl even managed to stomp their first double backflips…

In Cheryl’s words this was “The best trip in my snowboarding career so far.” Coming from someone who’s done her fair share, you know this is gonna be bolts!

DC have been killing it lately, dropping solid full-part edits of their team of shredders on the internets. Kimmy Fasani is the latest rider on their roster whose full part’s been put out there for all to lap up. Check it.

You might have seen Kimmy having a pop at double backflips a while back and in this full part shows that she’s far from being a one trick poney. There’s a good selection of pow kickers, natural terrain and full-bore powder charging, so it fits in well with what’s gone down in this series before from Devun Walsh and Iikka Backstrom. Yeah Kimmy, and we’re looking forward to the next installment already…
