Always pushing the limits and boring conventions of snowboard movies, Think Thank just released the first teaser for their new movie, ‘Think Thank is Brain Dead and It’s Having A Heart Attack!’ This four-and-a-half-minute teaser has more banging tricks in it than some overblown full team movie. Is this the first big teaser of the new season? We don’t know but we’re pretty stoked on the shred after watching this new Think Thank teaser. Featured snowboarders in the upcoming Mind the Video Man movie: Jesse Burtner, Scott Stevens, Ted Borland, Chris Beresford, Sean Black, Sam Hulbert and welcoming to the Think Thank family; Curtis Woodman, Ryan Paul, Nial Romanek, Brandon Hammid, Kyle Lopiccolo, Brandon Reis, Jaeger Bailey and more. Don’t forget what Halldor Helgason said about them: “They changed a lot of stuff, too, but people never think about that. They’ve made a lot of changes in snowboard movies.”

Here’s the official description:

“Mind The Video Man” explores progressive freestyle snowboarding with those in the vanguard and those about to make their mark, while asking the question, “What’s happening with the snowboard video, where is it going next and how will that impact our culture.” Follow the video man and his crew as they push the limits of possibility and progression through creativity in an attempt to create something of meaning that will stand the new media onslaught and the test of time. Mind the video, man.

I was tempted to write about the unlikeliness of our readership to ever ride at Mountain High in Southern California, but then I looked at our website logo and remembered we are the authority on “global snowboarding”, which makes this teaser kind of relevant.

Coming in Fall 2012, Mountain High’s first full length snowboarding film featuring MFM, Kyle Lopiccolo, Nick Visconti, Harrison Gordon, Spencer Link, Cory Cronk, Trever Haas, and Ryan Paul.

Last November the Bataleon crew came together for the first time to ride and test next season’s boards. Follow Ben Rice, DBK, Ethan Morgan, Gulli Gudmundsson, Kyle Lopiccolo and team manager L’Arrogs ride Hintertux, Stubai Glacier and Kitzsteinhorn.

It takes about 1:45 until the riding begins, but even before that, things are quite entertaining.

With “Hot August Nights ” revving up in Reno, it is only befitting to showcase where our engines took us in “Hot August Days.”
