Louif Paradis, Will Lavigne, LNP, Nic Sauve, Ben Bilocq… these dudes and the rest of their Quebec crew blew the doors off when they came on the scene, and now they’re back under one movie banner and it’s looking AWESOME.

There’s little doubt that this crew of riders from Quebec had a massive impact on the evolution of urban shredding when they started getting attention in the mid-2000s. Now, after their career paths have taken them on many roads they’re back together shooting for a movie they call Deja Vu, and this third ‘prologue’ is part history of the riders, part documentary of their first few reunion sessions filming for the movie that’ll drop fall 2013 – and will make you shake.

What sounds slightly sexually threatening is, in fact, merely a video taking you behind the scenes of Rome Snowboards’ ‘Bum Barrel’ ad shoot. Phew.

We must confess that the title, combined with a shirtless LNP singing along to some filthy sea shanty at the start, had us a little panicked, but then it becomes clear that this is just an interesting look behind one of Rome’s ad shoots rather than anything more sinister. Rain, darkness, fire and tweaks… nice job Darcy Bascha!

This Friday, August 10, Rome Snowboards will drag LNP out the skatepark and into their office to answer questions on their Facebook page. One of his interrogators will win a set of brand new Mob Boss binders too. Here’s the details…

This Friday, August 10th, Rome have managed to pull LNP away from his skateboard and summer shredding, for a couple hours of “face” time. This is your chance to ask Scary Larry any question you want and pick his brain about his favorite bands, tricks, places to ride, boards, or shred flicks.

For two whole hours LNP will answer as many questions as he can; no promise he’ll give you a straight answer though. So, if you have ever wanted to ask LNP something, this Friday will be your chance. Just log onto Facebook from your computer or phone, like the Rome SDS Facebook page, www.facebook.com/romesnowboards, and leave comments or questions under the photo we will post at 4pm Eastern time.

Since LNP has a brand new binding hitting the shelves. he decided to grab a pair of his pro colorway Mob Boss bindings for one lucky Rome supporter! After all the questions are asked, LNP will choose one random question or comment as the winner of some new 2013 bindings.

There’s a new project in the works from a notoriously hardgrafting, street slaying French Canadian crew made up of, amongst others, LNP, Louif Paradis, Will Lavigne and Nic Sauve. This is the teaser for Deja Vu, and it is awesome.

To give it its proper name, we should have titled this post Deja Vu – Prologue Part One – Precognition but then you probably would have no idea what this was and overlooked it to watch more cat porn. But toss in the names of some of the bad boys behind this project and all of a sudden we’ve got your attention – these French Canadians have been at the forefront of shaking up urban riding in recent times, and they’re now mid-way through the production schedule of a two-year project that’s gonna light the lights.

Throughout their second season of shooting they’ll be dropping regular hammer-filled webisodes before the release of the full movie in roughly a year’s time from now. We’re partners with the crew, so you can be sure we’ll feed you exclusive hammers direct to your eyeholes of this crew of heavy hitters.
