Putting together a solid part for any snowboard movie requires throwing yourself off ledges, down rails and into uncertain success. These guys are true professionals and take the good with the bad continually getting back up and giving it another shot. If these slams are any indication of how hard the guys were pushing it out there we can’t wait to see the tricks they land! Bangers!

How long is it since you slashed waist deep powder, rode busy tubes and ate crazy food? Exactly – so here’s Louif Paradis, Alex Cantin, and Ben Bilocq explore the trees and the flashy lights to give us a quick reminder of what we all dream about. Japow edits are mostly same same but awesome. This has all of that, and enough of a twist to be fresh too. Go!

Here’s another behind the scenes piece from the Deja Vu production, which is arguably the hottest things to come from Quebec since Poutine. This time, Louif Paradis overcomes troubles with some security people and lays down gnarly rail tricks.

Poaching urban snowboard spots is always a gamble. Check out the security troubles the Deja Vu crew run into at this double rail set up before snowboarder Louif Paradis even has a chance to strap in. Will Lavigne won’t let the session go to waste and does his best to smooth things over eventually convincing the manager to allow them just 15 minutes to lock down a clip. Under the watchful eye of security, Louif nails his trick and clocks out for the day! Job well done.

Louif may be leading the charge in legit urban shredding, but he’s not averse to experimenting with a bindingless Äsmo on the hills behind his home either. Check this mellow edit giving a little insight into Louif’s Quebecois home life…

Louif is a really good snowboarder. He is also a really awesome human being. Towards the end of last winter Bonfire video guy Tanner Pendleton went to Quebec and ended up shooting some random stuff around the house with Louif. He tested out his Asmo Board, showed us his favorite costumes, and some friends came to skate the garage ramp. That random stuff turned into this little edit and we hope you enjoy watching At Home with Louif.

All this-is-just-some-marketing-clip comments aside, this is a great video of the Salomon team having fun shooting for their 13/14 catalog in La Parva, Chile. Considering the world’s climate zones and season changes this must have happened a while ago, like last August.

Round 1 of the eagerly anticipated X Games Real Snow has opened for public voting and, honestly, there’s some of the most insane urban riding you’ll ever see. Mindblowing pretty much covers it. Check out our thoughts on who should win should win Round 1 of Real Snow 2013 here.

Salomon’s Team Vacation rolled into Japan last winter and this edit is the result. It’s also one of the funnest edits we’ve seen in a long white, with sick riding backing up the good vibes that was clearly had by all…

We don’t know why we added an exclamation mark to Japan, by the way. It just kind of seemed appropriate. Watch this and you too will agree. Japan!

After 3 months on the road Team Vacation finally made it to Japan – and it was insane! We rode amazing snow and met even more amazing people.

There’s little doubt that this crew of riders from Quebec had a massive impact on the evolution of urban shredding when they started getting attention in the mid-2000s. Now, after their career paths have taken them on many roads they’re back together shooting for a movie they call Deja Vu, and this third ‘prologue’ is part history of the riders, part documentary of their first few reunion sessions filming for the movie that’ll drop fall 2013 – and will make you shake.

Unleash The Lens is back for 2012 so we’ll be loading up the van and blasting around the
UK during November and December to bring you two sweet snowboard movies on a double
screening bill. This year we have teamed up with YES. It’s A Movie Too and Team Vacation
from Salomon Snowboards and Bonfire.

In Team Vacation the Salomon and Bonfire crew load up a camper van and tour the US,
Europe and Japan. Jed Anderson, Chris Grenier, Bode Merrill, Scotty Arnold, Louif Paradis
plus a whole host of the Salomon Snowboard and Bonfire team hit up a tonne of resorts and
street spots including some of our very own UK domes and dryslopes. Released as a series
of web videos last season this is the complete Vacation Tour with added extras and bonus
footage.

YES. It’s A Movie Too is the second team movie from YES. Head honchos Romain De
Marchi, DCP, JP Solberg and Tadashi Fuse are joined on screen by an ever growing YES.
family including Frank April and Helen Schettini. If you like out and out killer backcountry
freestyle and insane power riding (and even a few awesome jibs) then this is definitely the film
for you.

The tour kicks off in November and runs through December. All dates are FREE to attend, we
have give-aways galore plus the now legendary Salomon Snowboards and Bonfire pick n mix.
All screenings start at 8pm, no tickets required but get there on time to avoid disappointment.
