Finally, all those Yu-GO First efforts culminated in this full-length snowboard flick featuring some of the best riders from the Balkan (or in their words: Ex-Yugoslavia). Unfortunately, this also marks the end of the Yu-Go First movement, but we’re sure these guys come up with more cool shit from the South-East.

“Yu-GO First” was a snowboard video project with the idea to have most of the relevant snowboard riders from the ex-Yugoslavian region in one video. Movie was edited by several different editors and riders themselves.

With this full length movie we are closing the “yu-go first” movement. Thanks to everyone who helped to make this movie happen!

Apart from a crew of amazing snowboarders and a good handful of filmers, the Onboard Send Off Sessions at Kitzsteinhorn were also a perfect opportunity for photographers to hone their skills at park shoots. Some of the best shots can be admired in our current print issue, but our ed-in-chief/photographer Danny Burrows opened his archive and picked some of his favourite shots for an online gallery. A private season end session has long been high on the Onboard Crew’s wish list and yet the lack of an appropriate partner had until now kept it as just that, a wish. Then out of a smoking lamp came Kitzsteinhorn and their genie Stefan Plattner and with the wave of a long handled shaping spade The Onboard & Kitzsteinhorn Send Off Sessions were born.

As part of growth in the European Market, Dragon has announced the signing of three snowboarders to its Pan-European Team.

Tore Holvik, Gerome Mathieu and Luka Jeromel make-up the Pan Euro team bringing a range of skills and backgrounds to Dragon’s squad of athlete’s including Gigi Ruf, Danny Davis, Wolle Nyvelt, Luke Mitrani and Lucas Debari.

Coming out of Norway, Tore is consistently ranking highly in TTR events and took home first place at the recent Sweet Rumble event in Norway and is working with Process films.

French Pyrenees legend, Gerome Mathieu has risen to the top of the Euro snowboard scene over the past couple of years. With a banger part in the Pirate’s movie, Hooked, pro models with both Apo and Deeluxe and being part of the Nike 6.0 Euro team, Gerome has cemented his place as one of the top French riders. Gerome’s season got off to a great start with a first place finish at the Modena 4 star TTR “Stomp It” event in Italy.

Luka Jeromel is the youngest of our athletes. At just 19 years old, this Slovenian shredder is already on the Forum Youngblood team and is quickly being recognised by the media as a new rising talent within snowboarding. Luka is a versatile rider who shreds urban rails, back country kickers and everything in between. He recently won the first stop of the Peanut Butter Rail Jam in Laax, beating 70 other young shreds.
