Two of our favourite riders in the game – Messers Tyler Chorlton and Gerome Mathieu – set up their own movie production gig last season and called it WhatWeWant Films. Levity is their first full movie, and it is banging. Watch it now!

30-odd minutes of some of Europe’s finest stomping their mark across the pow-laden zones of the planet? This is what we want, and this is what they say…

Alright, here is our first movie called Levity. We’ve been shooting around Europe, Turkey, Japan, Canada and the USA for it and we had great conditions everytime. Enjoy the movie as it completely free and stay tuned for more podcasts and a new movie after next season!

Who would have thought that when Gérome Mathieu and Tyler Chorlton set out to film for their own movie project the result would be such a banger?

They zig-zagged the world, invited friends like Valérian Ducourtil, Johann Baisamy, Ethan Morgan, Kevin Backstrom, Kareem El Rafie, Martin Gallant, Gaetan Chanut, Mati Radaelli, and Christian Weber and are about to deliver one hell of a bawsy shred flick!

The movie will be available online for free from October 22nd on whatwewantfilms.com.

What We Want Films travels to Turkey and Japan

In February 2012, after shooting a lot in Austria, France and Switzerland the WWWF crew was looking for something different. A different country with different snow, different people and a different culture. Gérome Mathieu, Valérian Ducourtil, Johann Baisamy, Germain Ozer and their filmer Serge decided to fly to Turkey, in the town of Uludag. Meanwhile, Tyler Chorlton was invited by his friend Mati Radaelli to join the BQP crew to Japan.

Rip Curl’s Gum Movie – The Whole Shebang

Rip Curl gives us all an early Xmas present: The Full Gum Movie. How considerate.

This early season is starting not too bad: our European mountains start to be covered with fresh snow, last week-end 2 of our riders made a 5*TTR podium in Stuttgart! (Elias Elhardt won and Victor De Le Rue got 2nd) and Lucile Lefèvre, our young Frenchie rider, won the Halfpipe World Cup in Ruka!!

But last season, there was no snow in Europe, and that was just a good reason for our riders to start to live the search and discover new spots. From Argentina to Japan, the only thing they had in mind was powder!!!

This movie deals with their moves all around the world, and we’re happy to share this epic snowboard adventure as a special Xmas present!!

Watch Rip Curl’s ‘Welcome Home Vol. II’ Switzerland Part

Rip Curl just dropped the third chapter (of four) of their new flick Welcome Home II. Watch Elias Elhardt, Rémi Lamazouère, Martin “zizi” Seiler, Victor Delerue, Darius Heristchian, Emilien Badoux and Mati Radaelli at their epic work in Switzerland!

This third chapter is a real blast! The Swiss recipe is quite simple but dramatically effective: pick seven fresh and motivated riders: Elias Elhardt, Rémi Lamazouère, Martin “zizi” Seiler, Victor Delerue, Darius Heristchian, Emilien Badoux and Mati Radaelli; sprinkle them with sick pow lines, huge backcountry sessions, and pour the final touch to spice it up: a perfect heli trip that will remain in some minds for a while…

“I remember how stoked we were as our heli took off and headed directly to some untracked mountains. We were like small kids in a toy store before Christmas. We had such a blast that day, and I can still see Olivier (our filmer) puking out of the helicopter. Fun day with friends, powder and sun back home, that’s how snowboarding should be. Good times…”, remembers Martin Seiler.

And Elias Elhardt adds: “The Heli Trip was a crazy experience. Doing this for the first time in my life was a dream come true. I will never forget the moment when we took off and flew very close to those big mountains to scope out lines. The snow was perfect and the options endless. It was good to share this great experience with my team buddies Darius and Seili. Being on my snowboard, going down my line, I forgot about everything and only felt the pure joy of riding. In the end, every one of us had two super long and fun lines. Seili was ripping his spot!I guess dedication and passion for something enables us to do things that would normally never be possible…!”
