Finally, Postland dropped their first full-length snowboard film: MOMENTUM, featuring some of Netherlands’ finest shredheads. We posted a couple of teasers/snippets before, and this movie is defo not letting anyone’sd expectations down!

Featuring the riding of:
Bob van Unnik, Cees Wille, Gerben Verweij, Joey van Essen, Kas Lemmens, Wessel van Lierop, “and some people we met along the way.”

“This is 20 minutes filled with highlights and downfalls of our last season. I don’t want to bitch about how hard it is to make a snowboardfilm, but here are some factors: We are from Holland, no mountains, no snow, injuries, travel expenses, etc. We had a lot of fun making this film, though, and are gonna do it again next season. So be aware of a shitstorm of online video’s again coming your way as soon as the snow starts falling.”

Tim Schiphorst just sent us the third and last clip of his summer holidays in Les2Alpes, which is yet another Momentum Weekly Moments. What makes this different from many other holiday videos is Wessel van Lierop. He performs some Dutch rail wizard shit.

Last fall, Alex from F-Tech Snowparks told us Kronplatz had become the park to visit. Unfortunately, our busy schedule, other obligations and a good amount of editorial confusion prevented us from actually going there. But now that Tim Shiphorst, the man behind the upcoming Dutch movie Momentum, dropped this episode of his Weekly Moments we kind of regret that we never went there. Next winter we’ll be there for sure!

Momentum: Weekly Moments – Oslo Rail Session

Do you remember the Momentum teaser we posted the other week? No? Now that’s kind of sad, as so far it has been one of the best teasers this year. It is also about Dutch snowboarding, a subject most people are blissfully unaware about.

If you consider this good news there’s even more to come: Tim Shiphorst, the brain behind Momentum, just sent us an email announcing a new “Weekly Moments” episode, which basically is the Momentum making of web show. It is good, so do us a favour and at least watch this clip, will ya?

The full movie ‘Momentum’ will drop in september, untill then we will be uploading weekly video’s. This is the fourth weekly.

We went to Oslo for a week to hunt down and shoot some Urban action. However, every spot we went to we got either kicked out, couldn’t get enough speed or there wasn’t enough snow.

After 4 days we could easily say that we have hit one spot untill then. This kind of crushed the mood so to crank things up a notch we decided to get a litlte session started on this mellow stairset, just to be snowboarding again and generally have a good time. It worked!

Finally after a year of traveling, and filming here and there, we can finally show what we have been working on.

Bob van Unnik, Cees Wille, Gerben Verweij, Joey van Essen, Kas Lemmens and Wessel van Lierop featuring in Momentum. Postland’s first shred movie that will be online for free somewhere in september.
Even though it will be online we would still rather see u at our premiere party because it’s so much more fun.
