And they traveled to Folgefonna and had some fun in the sun and film for yet another Hypermountain edit. Beat that!

A mere four days after the second teaser the Norwegian production crew Process Films just dropped the third teaser for their highly, highly anticipated snowboard double-movie-feature A Shot in the Dark. Trust us, this will make you want to see the films even more.

Teaser 3 is the 3rd of 3 teasers released by Process Films for its current 2 year film project. Following some of Norway´s most progressive snowboarders, A Shot in the Dark will be split into two separate films. The first is a trick film while the second follows a documentary format.

Progression in snowboarding has been moving at an alarming rate over the last few years. A Shot in the Dark takes a look at the various channels of pressure riders face, and the harsh reality of injuries.

The films will be distributed internationally by major snowboard publications near the end of 2011.

Back in November, Process Films dropped the first teaser for their 2-year project, A Shot in the Dark, and its heavy awesomeness made the world sit up and take note to bag this banger when it drops in Autumn 2011.

Now they released a not-maybe-quite-as-gnarly-but-equally-awesome-and-way-more-fun-looking Holiday Season edit featuring the combined shred and vocal talents of Joacim Nyhaugen, Petter Kristiansen, Torjus Thomassen and Daniel Tengs.

We would have had this for New Years had our Facebook mail not been so full of spam, but, as they say, better late than never… have a look now at what they knocked together with 12 hours of riding, a few iPods, some festive cheer-type tune and a couple hours editing. Awesome, and what the hell was that hip flipper?

The Norwegian snowboarder, who was nominated “Rookie Of The Year” in 2009 by the Norwegian Snowboard Federation, joined the Endeavor army.

“Petter joins friends and fellow Scandinavian shredders Torgeir Berre and Kareem El Rafie on our team. Kareem and Petter will be rolling around Scandinavia and Europe throughout the fall and winter filming for various projects. They will also be counting down the days until Torgeir is ready to return to the mountains,” says Max Jenke, Endeavor’s Managing Director. “Petter’s style is sick and I’m hyped to have him part of the Endeavor family.”

“I chose to ride with Endeavor because the brand is down-to-earth and the people there used to be pro riders,” says Petter. “I had an immediate connection, both on a snowboarding level and on a personal level. I’m an artist as well as a rider, so it’s kind of a hand-in-hand situation due to Endeavor’s dedication to bringing art to snowboards.”

Togeir Berre recommended Petter to Endeavor and is confident Petter’s solid style and support from the Canadian rider-focused snowboard company will get the rookie the recognition he deserves.
