For their second We Travel episode Smith Optics sent their team far out into the backcountry. To shoot this episode their team riders went from Hasliberg, Suisse to Kaunertal and Arlberg in Austria all the way to the USA. The riders in order of appearance are Gian Simmen, Stefano Munari, Fabian Fassnacht, David Bertschinger Karg, Phips Gruber, Aaron Holtermann, Matthias Vogt and Mario Käppeli.

New season, new chapter, new movie! The winter rings in with a new Blue Tomato Snowboard Team Movie: Chapter XI is its name, and the Blue Tomato Riders drop their hammers for the lensmen of the planet once more.

Chapter XI – the 2011/12 Blue Tomato Team Movie features the riding of this crew of rippers: Marc Swoboda, Urška Pribošič, Dominik Wagner, Flo Galler, Kareem el Rafie, Mathias Weißenbacher, Viktor Szigeti, Ville Uotila, Roli Scharmer, Georgi Mihaylov, Phips Gruber, Diz Pichler, Vanessa Waldenhofer, Tobi Grünwald, Max Gründwald, Adam Granqvist, Tuomas Pohjonen, Clemens Schattschneider, Franki Wörndl.

We’re all gearing up for winter here at Onboard, and it looks like our buddies at Ästhetiker are too. For the last few seasons they’ve been producing their own slick webisodes from the steeps of the Zillertal and beyond, and now they’ve given us a taste of what we can expect from this season’s shows with this here teaser. Consider us teased good and proper.

Last year they pitted old dogs like Steve Gruber and Chris Kröll against the fresh faced rookies like Werni Stock and Georg Huber which made for interesting viewing, so we’re eagerly awaiting what they come up with this year.

They’ve got eight shows in the works, set to drop weekly from Octotber 15, so come back then to check out their first installment.

For 2010 the Ästhetikers have planned a new format for their well-known boardsport-shows. In the new productions the ‘old dogs’ and the ‘young guns’ come together to create a new era in the Ästhetiker Tell Ä Vision history.

The ‘old dogs’, Steve Gruber, Chris and Rudi Kröll, Tom “Beckna” Eberharter, Friedl Kolar, Jocki Köffler, Gogo Gossner and many more shred together with the ‘young guns’ like 15 year old Georg Huber, Alex Walch, Werni Stock, Marc Swoboda, Herby Thaler, Phips Gruber, Flo Heim and Simon Schweiger. Also new in the project will be the first girl on Tell Ä Vision ever, namely Anne-Flore Marxer!

By snowboarding together they will support each other. The ‘young guns’ profit from the experience oft the ‘old dogs’ and the ‘old dogs’ can pick up the ‘young guns’ motivation.

The Ästhetikers are not only going to present a huge variety of snowboarding shots, they are going to show the emotions of all the riders, the discussions about powderlines, how to build a kicker or how to improve their riding! What the Ästhetikers want to show as well is an impression of how snowboard shots get produced!

Every two weeks during this season the Ä-Crew will produce a newsblog webisode to introduce the new riders and advertise some of the footage, which will be broadcasted in their shows in Fall 2010!

In Fall 2010 the Ästhetikers will present eight podcasts with the best footage of the season!
